This is exactly what we needed to organize my childâs weekly school clothes. It fits over the door just fine, and the pockets are perfectly sized to fit a shirt and pants in the big pocket and underwear and socks in the small pocket. My only conplaint is that it is so high that a young kid can only reach Thursday and Friday. But for the amazing price, thatâs not even worth losing a star. Great organizational product. Wish I had bought it two years ago.
I hung this up in my 7 year olds bedroom. He thinks it’s great. I think it’s great that we don’t have morning arguments over what he’s wearing or me waiting impatiently for him to change. Every day this week he got up, grabbed out his clothes and socks, and was ready to go. Right now our weather in the South is a little crazy. One day is shorts weather the next it’s freezing. So being able to preplan his pants and shorts has helped.I like the over the door hooks it came with. They have an extra piece that helps them fit snug on different sized doors and keeps th from sliding around.The big downside for me is this is designed for kids and as you can see from the picture my 7 year old can just barely reach Tuesday and he’s at risk of tearing it up trying. So Monday and Tuesday I’ve had to take out the night before and lay them on his floor. This weekend I’m going to try to find a way to drop it down. It’s almost 2 ft off the ground so could easily come down further so he can reach the whole week. Overall it has been an improvement to our mornings.
This organizer is an absolute lifesaver. I used to stress so much in the mornings trying to find my son’s outfits. NO MORE! I can now pick an outfit out for each day & have it conveniently hanging up & ready to go! It feels super sturdy & well made! The storage capacity is nice, I can fit everything needed inside each slot!It always makes me feel good to be able to organize anything in my home, & after filling this up with his outfits & hanging it up.. This over-the-door organizer is just okay. The clips at the top seem like they could scratch the paint or finish on the door, so I might wrap them in something softer. Also, itâs not very practical for childrenâthe top two pockets are too high for most kids to reach. That said, it works well for me as an adult. The pockets are great for storing smaller accessories or clothing items if youâre in need of extra storage solutions.
I ordered this not for children’s clothes, but to help keep *me* better organized. I have it hanging on the door to my craft room (where I spend most of my time) and use the pockets and their coordinating day of the week to put in notes, reminders, and anything else I need to do. For example, in one day of the week’s pocket I have a dog toy that needs to be sewn. In another day’s pocket I have my grocery list. Because I spend so much time in my craft room, these visual reminders are much easier for me than a written list.The organizer is made of a medium weight fabric that seems tear resistant. All the pockets are mesh, which is nice (you can easily see what’s inside) and the accompanying door hooks are very durable. I think this is a good product and has many, many uses.
