This blanket arrived much sooner than I anticipated and it is absolutely gorgeous. The material is so soft and is a great size to grow with my little one as he moves from crib to bed eventually. Nice keepsake. The only negative is it is extremely thin. I would compare it to having two receiving blankets sewn together.I just received today so cannot comment on how it holds up in the wash or if it fades at all. First impression overall it was a great purchase
