Great for travel
This was perfect for bringing on our beach vacation. Takes up hardly any room in suitcase. Weighs nothing. Tent pegs keep it from flying away. Sand shakes off easily. Washes up well, just let it hang to dry. This will be coming on all of our beach holidays. I bought the L but I might order the XL as the L was a tad too small for 2 adults and 2 teens to spread out on comfortably. L would be ok for smaller kids though or 2 -3 adults

As described
It is nice and extra large. We were a group of 6 and we all fit seated around along with our stuff and food. It is described as parachute fabric and that is true. Do not expect it to be thick and padded because it doesn’t say so. It comes with 4 sticks to lock in place in the beach. It is lightweight and easy to shake off sand.

Smaller than listed
Bought the 7.2’×6.8′ and based on my 6′ husband trying to use it it’s not actually that size. Wish I’d sized up! Otherwise it’s light, compact and comfortable for use on a clean sandy beach.

Easy to carry
This is very big and spacious, but folds up small. Easy to wash and dries quick. Only downside is that it’s super thin so there’s no cushioning at all (which is expected for it to be so lightweight)

Great deal, this blanket worked well on a windy beach. The sand pockets are a little shallow to do much but the stakes are effective. The best part is how sand just falls right off the material (basically parachute material). And you can stuff The whole thing right back into the carrying bag, didn’t need to be specially folded or anything. Good size for one or two people but definitely not more.

Klein, kompakt und leicht. Das Material ist weich und knistert nicht. Es klebt nicht unangenehm an der Haut. Sand rieselt wunderbar ab. Es lässt sich einfach waschen und trocknet extrem schnell.Wir legen die große Stranddecke am Strand auf den Sand und beschweren die 4 Eckentaschen mit Sand. Dann bleibt die Decke auch bei Wind wunderbar liegen. Darauf legen wir dann mittig unsere beiden Hamam-Strandtücher. Die sind nebeneinanderliegend deutlich kleiner als die Stranddecke und kommen daher nicht direkt in den Sand. Es kommt zwar immer mal wieder ein wenig Sand auf den Randbereich der großen Stranddecke aber auf die Hamamtücher kommt fast keiner mehr.Wer eine wirklich sandfreie Decke sucht, muss sich nach diesen 2 lagigen Decken mit Mesh-Schicht umsehen. Da rieselt der Sand dann zuverlässig durch die oberste Schicht. Das bietet diese Decke hier nicht. Sie bietet einfach ein bisschen Abstand zum sandigen Bereich und hält das Strandlaken zum Draufliegen damit deutlich sandfreier als wenn es direkt im Sand läge. Ich finde diese Lösung einfach super, denn die Strandmatten mit Mesh-Schicht sind sperrig und schwer. Die will ich nicht immer zum Strand schleppen müssen.
