Cubes fall out very easy and they make a great size ice cube. I took off a star because they are not stackable until they are frozen, so they take up a lot of room in the freezer. Not that big a deal. I had to switch from my ice making machine in the freezer to ice cube trays because our water became undrinkable where I live because of high chlorine. The filter did not help at all.
These are the best ice cube trays I have ever used. They feel more durable than the ones you get at the big box stores. Easy to twist and cube pop out. One got over filled and more difficult than normal, I set it aside while cracking the other 3 trays and it worked just fine. I am very happy with this purchase and have bought a second set so we always have plenty of ice.
The item description on Amazon says “Trays stack easily and neatly in the freezer without sticking to each other.” This is a lie. They do not “stack easily and neatly.” I just filled up two trays and attempted to put them in my freezer by stacking one on top of the other. The top one sank into the lower one and made water overflow and spill everywhere. Now I have a mess to clean up and several items of possibly water-ruined food. Ice cube trays are supposed to be designed so that you can stack them on top of each other to save space, but you can’t do that with these. If the company had tested their product before writing the description, they would have known they are unstackable and could have warned the customer in the description. So they either did not test them or deliberately lied in the product description.
I loved these far better than all Icetrays I have ever owned. The ice cubes glide out very nice without having to twist and fight to get to them out. I also discovered that for stacking on top of each other if refilling all or even 2 stack and I bought 4 trays in a pack and figured no need for covers ”oops my mistaken thought” If stacking they are pretty handy with the cover to prevent spillage while stacking refilled ice trays with water or etc.. unless your freezer is roomy enough to lay the trays side by side then no covers really needed. for me I do need covers so will get those soon. Other than the covers issue for me I have no more issues and am tottally happy with my Release white Ice- Cube Trays. Let it be known it was my fault with not getting covers they had them next to them when ordered I chose not to buy those. Will now though. Thank You Amazon for another Top Notch Item I have Purchased. I give these a 10 star if you had that. But 5 on all. Thanks again from a Satisfied Customer.
The product description specifically says these are stackable. Sure, if the ice is already frozen. Otherwise, these NEST, they do not stack. While the narrative description is very humorously written by someone who clearly speaks English as their first language, the stackable part is FALSE and misleading. The cubes come out easily, though, so if you have room in your freezer to place trays side-by-side or cross-ways to each other until the water freezes, you’ll love these
