Great duo cat feeder
We just received the feeder and so far both are cats have adapted well (even tho itâs only been 3 times). Our kibble was at (or ever so slightly larger than) the sample circle guide on the unit – but the dispensing works great! The portion is great too, very adjustable – especially if we just want one feeding to be a snack. Both cats adapted well to them – the first feed, they took each bite out of the bowls and ate beside the machine, but the second one they were eating right out of the bowls. Assembly and setup of the feeding cycles was quite easy. Really happy with this purchase!
Great to take care of kitties while away
It was reliable, held a lot of dry food, and did what it was supposed to do. You can even record your voice! Although my girl cats were freaked out lol. I’d suggest sitting a bit back when recording your voice, or else it booms through the house at scheduled times.Looks nice too, I had it plugged into a wall outlet. The measuring was a bit complicated as I give 1/2 cup at one time, so I did two settings 15 min apart which equaled that.
Works great, my cats are happy!
THE GOOD PART:I will say that right out of the box, set up was very quick and the manual was very helpful. The app is AWESOME. I can feed my kitties while Iâm away no matter where I am, and they get their food automatically which I set up through the app so I can be at ease. I initially got this for one of my cats that is overweight and needed a planned meal plan with specific portions but itâs been a blessing as well because of the punctuality. When the machine was no longer using power from outlet it still fed my cats using the battery!THE BAD PART:After a few weeks I noticed that the app kept saying that the device was âOfflineâ and I was not able to check the feeding record or manually send out midnight snacks which was making me worry. I realized that the machine carried on working, however the app kept saying that I needed to troubleshoot. So I checked with the manual and I realized that the outlet cord was broken and stuck in the machine! The manual said if the LED screen on the machine was black when idle it means the machine is using battery power only so it shuts off to save energy. This is the reason for a missing star in my rating as I was provided a faulty cord that broke within the first few weeks. Luckily I was able to use tweezers to get the UsB-C input out of the machine. Since the machine uses USB-C input, I had extra cord to replace it. Now the machine works perfectly well and the boys can have their midnight snacks sent from me when I am not home at work! <3TL;DR :Love this product, and so do my cats. I wish I had been sent a better quality cord but it was easy to replace and the manual / app are so user friendly that I was able to resolve the problem without too much worry. I am very pleased. Overall a great device. Also love the voice recorder!
The best feeder I’ve ever bought
I have never written a review before but this product needed to be my first. I have two cats and I’ve had two different feeders before so this is my third that I had to buy when one of my old feeders crapped out on me. I was simply going to buy a replacement but fell onto the dual feeder and was intrigued.Let me tell you, it’s cheaper and better than any feeder I’ve had.-The bowls are stainless steel and removable so it’s easy to clean and hygienic-The machine can be taken apart to clean out the food receptacle (my old feeders could never)-The buttons are user friendly but can’t be manipulated by my highly food driven cats (my old feeder I had to hold down buttons, push others, wait for flashing numbers to change them, if I overshot a number I had to cycle through again until I got the right one, etc.) this one is so simple and then locks so that your cat can’t mess with it.-the base is super sturdy and supported by 4 metal dowels so my cat can’t knock it down (her favourite sport)-the hole from which the food comes out of is cat proof, my cat can no longer shove her paw up there to make food fall down.-there is up to 6 time slots I can program to feed my cats so I can keep them active throughout the day with small portions.If you have an overly intelligent bully of a cat that loves to body check feeders, shove their paws up the shoot or my cats personal favourite, lift the non removable tray of my old machine to make the whole thing teeter and fall to spill food, this machine is your solution.My cat senses this machine isn’t to be trifled with and doesn’t even try anymore. This thing is indestructible and honestly, as I was assembling it I kept thinking, “omg this is such a well thought-out, smart, design” and I don’t feel I can say that about much these days.Highhhhhlllyyyyyy recommend this machine, my last machine was all one piece and after 4 years that thing was disgusting I felt so bad for my cats but now I can make sure their food is kept in a clean, dry, washable feeder. Plus it looks small but the reservoir holds quite a bit of food, I’m not filling it often.

Love this feeder!
This feeder is great! Works as expected. Seems durable and love that you can remove the bowls to wash. It took a minute to understand the amounts for each feeding. But figured it out. It isn’t particularly noisy. The cats have learned the timing of each feed. You can set up to 6 feed times. Note that you will need 2 AA batteries as it doesn’t come with them. It will be nice to have this as we may be away over night on occasion. Definitely was worth the $.

I really like the Automatic Cat Feeder for 2 cats. It was pretty easy to set up, and you can customize how often to feed and how much food at a time. My cats were a little skittish at first, but they very quickly adjusted to it and come running when they hear the food drop in the bowls. In the beginning, they made a determined effort to get into the food tank, but they couldn’t manage it. I set their schedule to 4 times a day, and the feeder worked fine, delivering food on schedule even through power outages using the backup batteries.After about 6 months, though, I suddenly had a problem with the timer. I noticed that it was about 15 minutes slow one morning, and it became even slower over the course of the day. I reset the timer, but the problem continued. I tried some basic troubleshooting (different outlet, different adapter on the power cord), and when that didn’t work, I emailed the company. Andrea, on the support team, responded quickly with instructions to reset the feeder and program it again. That seemed to work, but after a few days I noticed that the timer would start running slow again and for a while it stopped completely. I emailed Andrea again, and she quickly sent me a replacement feeder. The new feeder is working fine, the cats are happy, and I am very pleased with the feeder and the customer service.
I purchased this double cat food dispenser for my two cats for two reasons. I wanted some kind of portion control, as I tend to walk past their food bowl and fill it if it’s empty. You can control the portions and how often they are fed. The portions this puts out is VERY small, however, you can choose up to ten portions of food every time it feeds. You can also select how often it puts out food. I selected 2 portions of food 3 times per day for each cat. They are fed 2 portions first thing in the morning, 1 portion at lunch time, and then 2 portions in the evening. It’s still a work in progress, and the food dishes are rarely empty.The second reason I purchased this feeder is because we like to go away for the weekend. I thought it would be nice to not have to ask someone to come and feed my cats twice a day while we are gone. It really does a great job of sticking to the schedule and dispensing food when I’d like. It also has a neat feature in the app that I can go in and dispense food at random. Because it’s set up to dispense food throughout the day, I don’t use this function while we aren’t home.I will say that my cats were very skeptical of it at first. They still get a little scared when it makes a warning noise (kinda like it’s “warming up” before it dispenses the food). They tend to take several steps back or run away when they hear that noise. It’s not loud at all. They eat out of it just fine though.Overall, it was really easy to put together, set up through the Smart Life App was fairly quick and easy, and it works as it should. I’m very satisfied with this feeder. We have had it for a couple weeks now.
Very easy to set up but I kept in the kitchen to ensure it was working correctly and dispensing the food. It is now in the cats’ den and I’ll be monitoring whether I’ve got the portion size right.The instructions are easy to follow. Only downside is that there is only one dessicant bag included and it doesn’t say where to get replacements from, only to contact support.Nevertheless it seems to be a good product and does what it is supposed to do.
