Excellent Company and Product
Today I had just placed my 2rd or 3rd order from Orellis and by mistake had asked for a slightly different product than I used earlier (one that was without colloidal oatmeal) and a person from Orellis PHONED ME a couple hours later to ask if there was a mistake, since all previous orders had been for product containing oatmeal. I was stunned.And the product, after trying several other useless (to me) concoctions, really does help with my skin problems! It’s not cheap, but it is well worth the cost.

Ive only had this for a few hours so i can’t talk about its effectiveness quite yet… However I can say that it doesnt smell that nice. I will update my review later on how well it works. I still need to use it anyways, maybe I might try to add a couple drops of some kind of essential oil and see of that helps lol

Larger than I expected
Larger than I expectedI wasn’t expecting such a large container. It is 2 to 3 times larger in size than I thought it would be. Also, I found it weird how the product had water floating on the surface. Most creams are lipid based but this one is water based. I also expected it to have some sort of mint, menthol or tea tree to act as a soothing agent, but also had none of these. I therefore found it less soothing than I expected, but I suppose it makes this much more gentle and safe for babies. The scent is also mild. Not particularly pleasant, but not entirely unpleasant either.Overall is seems like an interesting cream that is safe for all to use, but doesn’t have the soothing effect that I was hoping for. I will continue using it in hopes that it might have a gradual effect to calm the affected areas, but I will need to supplement with something else to get a greater soothing effect.== Update ==After using the cream for nearly three weeks, I’m upgrading my rating and review. Even though I find the texture weird like mashed potatoes, and even if the smell is not the most pleasant, the results are noteworthy. I ended-up adding a few menthol crystals into the cream to add some soothing effect. It took a couple days to fully dissolve then I mixed it into the cream with a spoon. (This was only possible because the container is one big jar instead of a tube.) I can now apply the cream to the affected area with a cotton swab and it has an immediate cooling effect because of the added menthol, but I also have a long term healing effect that I didn’t have with any other cream. I’ve used creams with lidocaine and cortisone, tea tree, lemon balm (among others) and they just provided very short temporary relief. I also tried a stronger numbing cream but this just felt like a distant itch that didn’t go away. This one finally seems to provide healing relief by calming the redness and inflammation. I’m assuming this is because of the Colloidal Oatmeal.I am therefore upgrading my recommendation to help those, who like me, had (or are having) a hard time finding an effective anti-itch, anti-redness and anti-inflammatory cream. I’d recommend they give this cream a try. If they would like to improve the smell, as well as the soothing effects, I’d recommend they add-in a few drops of Peppermint essential oil and mix into the cream (which I’ve also used with other creams with good effect). More drops can be added for a stronger effect. It has a similar cooling effect of menthol but is easier to handle and control strength than dealing with menthol crystals. The combination of cooling and long term healing could be just the thing they were looking for.
Came with broken seal and used
The seal was broken and looked like it was all ready used. Iâm very disappointed!
Dirty labeling looked used
Not sealed ooked used when received. Not thick when applied to exema area. On the positive side, it has a natural non irritating scent.

Second update: I ordered another jar and it came in new packaging. The ingredients and the consistency of the cream are identical. This cream is incredibly helpful.UPDATE: This cream is wonderful and is now my go to cream for rashes. This has helped heal multiple skin issues including mild eczema, mild psoriasis, allergies and other rashes. This has allowed me to greatly reduce my need for topical steroids. It doesnât take much and itâs gentle as well as soothing. Iâve been using this for 6 months now and Iâm not even half way through the tub, so I expect Iâll only need to buy this a couple times a year.Original review: This cream comes well packaged in a small box with the expiry date (2025) and also has a safety seal around the tub itself. The cream itself is water based and has several soothing ingredients including oatmeal, calendula, and shea butter. The cream is lightweight but not thin and has a mild scent that goes away pretty quickly after application (Iâm not a fan of the scent ). The cream is very gentle and moisturizing, I have been using it on a patch of eczema as well as a patch of psoriasis and it does not seem to be irritating either. The moisturizer also spreads easily so you donât need to use very much to get good coverage.This is a good gentle eczema cream but Iâm undecided on whether it will replace my usual cream. Iâll keep using it over the months (this tub will last some time) and hopefully will see faster healing, but for now Iâm happy with it except for the scent.
Huge jar, would be better in tube format
Wow, this jar was a lot bigger than I expected it to be! The ingredients are very good and pure which is a nice bonus. However, even though there is no fragrance per say, it still has a smell to it that I really am not fond of. It’s a turn off to the product and doesn’t make me keen to keep using it.It’s unfortunate as well that I really do not like the jar format. It is so huge and cumbersome to hold and I hate having to scoop out the cream. It just isn’t as sanitary as something like a tube would be. It makes me turn to another product when I have a jar option vs a tube option. Squeezing a tube is just so much easier and more sanitary. I would have gladly have traded this size jar for a smaller amount in tube form if the company had offered that instead.When I used this, I also didn’t really see or feel much of a difference. It didn’t work any better than other products I currently use or have used in the past.
