When littles are just starting to potty train, sometimes waiting isn’t an option. We keep this in the back of our Honda Cr-v for those occasions and it has worked perfectly! The seat is the perfect height, and we throw 2 paper towels in the bags before she goes so they can absorb some of the liquid. We can then tie the bag and toss it in the trash later. It even has a storage flap for the roll of bags.
We got this potty to keep in the car for our long car rides. We live pretty far from a chunk of our family so we are always on the go visiting. The potty folds up which is convenient for space. We’ve had to use this twice now for quick bathroom breaks and it worked out fine. The bags aren’t super thick but they worked for our little one.
This is a great idea…a portable travel potty to keep in the car for emergencies and longer road trips. It’s not going to replace a standard kid’s potty for home use, but it’s also not trying to do that. I had my toddler use it a few times to make sure it was functional (it was), and then threw it in my trunk for when we need it. Overall, a very solid product for it’s intended use!
I’m all about practice and anticipate before the actual emergency arises.I want to know how quickly I can get that seat together = FAST.I want to know how I catch and dispose of the collected waste = bag could be thicker.Can you travel with it = yes, comes with bag to put it in.For an emergency this is fine. I would not use for potty training, just because I prefer to have a bucket underneath and not rely upon the plastic bag staying in place. I also would have to see how to get replacement bags to fit this square. I don’t know that waste bags have specific dimensions for me to shop, other than small bathroom waste basket, vs, kitchen size, vs, office size square, etc. I also would prefer thicker bag. and if prepared I would put a few paper towels in the bottom of the bag to catch the liquid.Overall, it is functional. Fastest one I have yet to assemble to use.
This portable potty is sturdy, easy to use, and comes with storage for the bags on the potty. They also include a small bag to store the potty and all the extra bags they include. This comes in so handy when a child needs to use the potty on a road trip, camping trip, or where there is no clean toilet to be found. I love that the cushion on the potty seat is removable as well so it can be cleaned. It is so easy to fold up and open and packs up to be very compact.
