I love hiking, and ever since I had a toddler, I struggled with carriers that had all the functions and features we needed. This one does the job. It does the job extremely well, a step above other options.The seat is super well-padded, almost like a throne for my child. You can also wash this compartment really easily. It is also super easy to get my little one into the backpack. There is tons of ventilation on the side panels, so even in warmer conditions, they will stay cool.My partner and I are both able to use this backpack. Even though we are significantly different in size, there is a torso adjustment feature that lets you quickly change from parent to parent. There is also tons of storage. You can fit everything from snacks to diapers to water bottles. The compartments are thoughtfully designed and super easy to access. You are getting what you pay for by buying this. Really recommended for avid hikers with little ones!
For those who know the struggle of taking children/infants on hiking trips, look no further. We tried multiple backpacks, child carriers, the whole nine yards, and everything we tried was prohibitive in some way. This osprey carrier has been game changing. It has a comfortable cockpit that our child finds very comfortable (and leads to much less complaining), and it doesnât get too hot for him. It has a lot of safety features and there is no conceivable way for him to fall out, even if I were to slip. The carrying capacity is substantial and has been a serious point of compromise with other products. I can essentially fit multiple days worth of materials between the two compartments and there are additional pockets for smaller objects. You can hook items to the base (sleeping bag, water bottle etc) which adds a lot of versatility. Perhaps most importantly, this thing is lightweight, distributes weight evenly, and it doesnât hurt my back like other products have. That alone makes this product worth the investment. Overall this product is something every parent needs to consider for outdoor events.
This is an awesome kid carrier with all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Built in sun shade is really a nice addition, which has its own storage area. Itâs comfy for my little to sit in and helps distribute weight evenly, thus makes him feel lighter overall. He likes the foot rest because now his feet donât dangle and fall asleep. Once you get the hang of using this itâs easy, but could be a small learning curve. Itâs a bit pricey but the quality overall is far better than other carriers Iâve used.
This backpack child carrier is well made from quality material. It appears rugged and durable. There are a variety of spacious pockets to hold items. The backpack is easy to put on and remove. The child cockpit is safe and comfortable. This is a great way to take a little one conveniently along for the experience. The item is as described by the seller. I got this for our hiking trips with the kids. It works well, and is built very well, but the price seems quite high for what it is.
