As a rebranded Silbird set, I had high expectations, and Iâm thrilled to say it exceeded them. The set comes in a beautifully printed box that showcases the completed model in all its grandeur. While the pictures are impressive, the owl is even more breathtaking in person.The instructions are clear and well-structured, with each step aligning perfectly with the numbered bags, making the build process smooth and enjoyable. A thoughtful addition is a small thank-you card, though its purpose feels a bit puzzling since most wouldnât pre-open the set to gift it. Regardless, itâs a charming touch.The quality of the pieces is excellent and consistent with the high standards of the originating brand. The bricks offer great clutch power, consistent colours, and minimal scuff or scratch marks, ensuring a polished final result. Building this set took a few hours, and although itâs recommended for ages 8+, I would suggest itâs better suited for ages 12â14 due to some of the more advanced building techniques involved.Once assembled, this set truly shines as a display piece. The vibrant colours and intricate floral details make the owl a stunning focal point, certain to capture the attention of any brick-building enthusiast. Its detailed design and vibrant floral elements make it a true standout as a display piece. While enjoyable, this build is definitely challenging, requiring patience and dexterity, and I would recommend it for ages 16+ or, at minimum, 14+ for more experienced builders rather than the suggested 8+.The set is packaged beautifully in a printed box with glossy highlights, matching the quality of Haiwon’s smaller Flower Owl set. It includes printed instructions that are generally clear, though some steps involving assembly and attachment points can be confusing. Correction sheets were provided for a few steps with errors in the original instructions, which was a thoughtful addition.The quality of the bricks is excellent overall, with nice clutch power, consistent colours, and minimal scratching. However, a few pieces were noticeably scratched, though this didnât detract from the final result. Unlike the smaller owl, which had slightly better piece quality, this set still maintains a high standard and even includes extra pieces, always a welcome bonus.One notable drawback is the stability of the internal structure. Assembling the floral elements onto the main body can cause the top portion to loosen or fall off, especially when applying pressure. I experienced some frustration when parts Iâd meticulously built broke into chunks while trying to attach pieces to the upper branches. A sturdier internal structure would greatly improve the building experience. I also needed to add two bricks in the base (book) to add some structural stability and prevent plates from indenting inward when pressing tiles down on the book.The build took me about 12 hours, including time spent reassembling portions that fell apart. Itâs a complex, intricate model with many small parts, so I strongly advise careful handling during assembly. Once complete, itâs best displayed in a safe spot, as itâs not ideal for frequent handling.That said, the finished model is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail, creative building techniques, and overall aesthetic make this owl a show-stopping piece for a shelf or bookcase. At just 3.6 cents per piece, the set is an exceptional value, especially compared to non-leading brands averaging 6 cents per piece and the leading brand at 11 cents per piece. Do note, however, that many of the pieces are smaller, which contributes to the lower cost per piece.If you enjoy floral-themed building sets, this is an absolute joy to build despite its challenges. I hope Haiwon continues to release more of these beautifully designed sets. For those seeking a rewarding and impressive display piece, this set is a fantastic choice.

While this is for more of an advanced builder, my 8-year-old has the focus of an owl (get the joke?!), and quickly started building this as soon as she opened it.The pieces are very different from your typical building blocks kits, but she’s done a few of the flower bouquet ones in the past and is familiar with the pieces already. The instructions are clear enough to follow and even though she need a little bit of help with a few steps, she quickly got into a trance with the build and we can’t wait until this is finished being built.The design is beautiful, the pieces are strong and the price is great. She likes having these items as decor for her bedroom, so we are very excited for her to finish it and put it up on her shelf.
Not worth the time!
My package arrived with seemingly missing pieces (and ones that did not match the instructions) and the instructions are not very clear and I have spent many hours trying to put this together with little success. It is definitely worth getting the real Lego brand for the quality as the pieces hardly stay/fit together.
Gorgeous
This is a beautiful build that was lots of fun to put together. There are loads of neat details throughout, but nothing too repetitive or small that makes it challenging for those with larger fingers. It’s one of those builds that gets you more and more excited with each step as you realize it coming together, especially when you realize all the clever ways parts are being used like pirate hats and sausages in vibrant neon colours that give the build more life. It looks absolutely gorgeous amongst other flowers like Lego’s botanical collection, or even real flowers.

My daughter also enjoyed helping my son and it was fun completing this toy.Now, my son is keeping this in his gaming room and it looks even better in the shadow of RGB lights working in his gaming room.

This is one fun lego-like puzzle to build.The quality of the pieces is superb and at par with the big brand name of construction toy building blocks and brick pieces.What makes this so fun to put together are the unique design pieces and the fact that it’s not so modular and square as other toy builds.Tiny little flower pieces makes this very appealing to view and display after it’s completed.It’s a build that make anyone looking at it for the very first time want to study it.The entire kit is extremely well packaged. All the bags are numbered and the kit comes with a very well laid out comprehensive full color instruction booklet.At almost 1200 pieces it’s not something you can complete in one day.And at almost a full foot tall you’ll need a good area on a bookshelf or fireplace mantle to display it as it sure will garner a lot of attention from first time viewers.What also make this unique are the various colors and tones of the building pieces. Defiantly something you don’t normally see from any build block set.Most of the pieces are very small so not ideal to be building it around toddlers.

I’ve recently been doing quite a few Lego-type builds but from different brands of bricks. Some sets are good quality bricks, just as good as the Lego branded ones, and some not so much. I’m happy to report that the bricks in this kit are on the better side being good, high quality bricks with good fit and just the right amount of “stick” to one another, providing a build that doesn’t fall apart constantly while still being reasonable to pull apart if you make a mistake.With nearly 2000 pieces, this build takes a while and several sessions for me. There is plenty of help built in to get the build correct though. First, the build is broken into multiple phases, with each phase being bagged separately to reduce the amount of searching for each tiny piece. Next, the instruction book graphically illustrates each step of the process with clearly defined images.Though the build takes a bit of effort, in the end, you are left with a vibrantly colored floral owl, and a rather large one at that.I must say though that I noticed something in some of the other reviews that point to two different models being shipped out that look quite different. My owl looks just like the ones in the ad description. Notice that on the box, as well as in the picture of the owl how big the eyes are. Mine looks just like that. Now, look at the pictures posted in other reviews. The eyes are quite different. Similar but much smaller. Another big difference is the base where mine looks like it’s coming out of a book and other reviewers’ photos look like a patch of brown dirt. There are other differences as well but the eyes and base are the most obvious to me. Personally, I feel mine looks a bit nicer and I assume the manufacturer updated the model, with mine being more recent. However, I’m sure you don’t get a choice in which you receive so hopefully you get the model you prefer.

So far Iâm halfway through building this and felt like I should update those about the owl. I love it! However, thereâs a few flaws, a few pieces are missing, a few pages were written incorrectly and they give you new pages. Itâs fun, colorful, and exciting though!
