It is designed for the 2020 Chevy Traverse, but it may also work on other GM cars that use the same retainer (P/N 84691055).

Nice replacement.
Easy to install since the rivet holes have been drilled out in this newer latch version. Fits over top of the old one nicely. Comes with 2 self tapping screws which helps.

Saw this on YouTube and found it here. Was easy to install and works perfectly! Definitely saved money from going to the GM Dealership.
Perfect easy fix. Tips below
Tip 1: Be sure to remove any old pieces of plastic stuck under and around by the existing rivets so that this new piece can sit flush overtop. Just pick or pry them out with a small knife or screwdriver. It’s easy and they’re mostly just stuck in with the existing foam gasket. 2. The included self taping screws tap in really quick and easy and cut through the metal fast. You don’t need to put a whole tonne of pressure with a high speed cordless drill. Be careful as to not bite in too quick, bottom out and strip the threading before you have a chance to let off the trigger. My advice is to use the drill at a medium speed and once the screw gets through and biting in just thread the rest by hand with a screwdriver to feather it in with the right tightness without stripping it. This piece (the version to go over the existing rivets and tap new holes) works perfect and literally took me 3min to install. Took longer to get my cordless drill and screwdriver out than to install this. Awesome.
