Good material. Easy to clean
Good concept but suction “sucks”.
I really loved the idea of this and I wanted it to work better than it did. It does work to save some food from falling on the floor with the pouch that hangs over the table. However, the suction cups are awful and don’t suction at all. My toddler just picks the whole thing up and makes a mess anyways. I wish the suction would work better. I have tried it on a smooth wooden table, granite counter, plastic highchair surface and metal table surface. The suction does not adequately stick to any of those.

This was a very useful purchase! High quality silicon thats soft around my sensitive skinned babyâs neck. Has already caught a couple of gag induced throwups! This is amazing!
OK but not great
I was REALLY looking forward to these placemats because my daughter loves to rub food all over the table and it’s such a pain to clean up 3 times a day. The placemats are way too small and they don’t stick well enough. She’s able to to pull it off and because she knows she can, she always does. They also don’t sit flat on the surface. Overall, they need to be bigger and stick better to be worthwhile.
Pretty good food catcher
These have worked fairly well with our toddler for catching food, but he can still get them unsuctioned fairly easily.
My 13 month old would lift and fold over the Table Tyke and any other mat that sits in front of her. I wanted something that would prevent her from gnawing in the table at restaurants and stayed in place when she tried to lift it. I brought it with us to try on vacation while eating at various restaurants with varied surfaces. Iâm so happy with the size, quality, price, and functionality. Itâs a great deal since Im able to get two for half the price of one of the bigger brands. I donât mind that it doesnât lay super flat since the suction cups are there, and the mat has plenty of eating space. The pocket is large and gets in the way of her silicone bibs, so I loosely place her bib on so that the pocket sits under the mat pocket as a second line of defense to catch fallen food. Iâm so happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.
Good, quality, works fine.Just my toddler keeps ripping it off, but that’s not the products fault.I wouldn’t use it for very small babies that just learning first time as the hanging off bit gets in the way but once they sit on their own this should be fine.

We have an older dining room table with a lip, so my daughter couldnât reach the food where the mat could stick. I would suggest paying attention to where the suction cups are and where it would hit on the table.
These unfortunately werenât right for me personally to use as I have a wooden table and the silicone base wouldnât grip so kept slipping but I tried on my kitchen worktop and they stuck on but unfortunately that isnât where I feed my grandchild so had to return.
