Exactly what I need
This product is great. The quality is superb and works exactly as described. It is very versatile. It can be used in big spaces or small ones. If i have one comment is that the door locks are a bit complicated to always be using it. I know it is to secure it but honestly , it is so complicated that one goes sideways and the other to be pulled and should be done at the same time… the dog sneaked out on me several times while I fumble on the locks. I just move the panels to get thru now. Aside from that, I’m happy overall. It looks great and quality is great.
Pawhut 4 panel pet gate
We love this gate. We did have an issue with one of the support pieces breaking on the bottom of the gate. The customer service of this company is outstanding. They shipped out a new part quickly for us.
Difficult to assemble
I had to hire someone to put it together. The hinges are flimsy
You do not have to attach it to anything. Free standing
I like everything about this fence.I use it to stop my puppy from going downstairs or upstairs. In the first six months to a year it is not recommended for a puppy to climb stairs. Their bones are still developing.
Dog Gate
it is easy to use, we take it everywhere we go to help keep dogs out of rooms they are not allowed in LOL
Disappointed in build quality and the screws provided are terrible
First off, do not use a electric screwdriver when assembling the hinges. I’m not even talking about a drill with screwdriver attachment, just any electric screwdriver. The material of the gate is like a MDF but is easy to split and crack. I made sure to assemble the rest of hinges with manual screwdriver. However, even with careful and thoughtful assembly, I managed to break the heads off 3 of the screws. Yes, the heads snapped right off. The problem is I couldn’t just screw in another screw since the core was already lodged in. So unfortunately, 3 of the hinges only had 3 screws. Once placed in position, the gate is sturdy so that is good. Having a gate is great, especially for use at bottom of stairs but the latching mechansim is cumbersome because you have to pull the spring from the bottom and push the latch from top. Having a simpler one-handed latching mechanism would have been preferred.
Better than a crate, for Daisy!
It takes 4 hands to assemble, but it was easy.Better that a crate for my nervous Daisy. It cives her a nice open airy space that is non threatening . Looks nice in the livingroom corner too.Perfect.
