Everything I look for in a kids hat
For our kids, the bigger the hat the better and so this one matches our needs perfectly. It has a big brim and a large ‘flap’ on the back to protect the neck. It’s got breathable mesh around the hat too to give a bit of airflow. The closure is a drawstring to make it tight enough to cinch it on but it also has a version of quick release whereby if you pull it it will unbuckle. The white is a bold choice with a 4 year old but so far all the dirt has washed out with no problem. Overall a solid hat.

High quality hat
I ordered this hat in grey. The colour is a stone/clay/slate grey colour that will match most things she wears. The size is 2-8 years, which is a pretty large range, so the hat is a bit big for 2 year old. However, it does have an adjustable band to make it tighter.The fabric is soft and feels easy to clean and easy to get sand off of as well. Quick drying. It has a mesh lining and air holes for added comfort. The brim is very wide and stiff to keep the sun out of her eyes. It has a flap at the back to prevent sunburns on her neck.The chin strap is detachable, but only on one side so it can’t be fully removed.Great hat for beach trips or just playing outside in the sun!

This sunhat fits our 2-year-old well, but we did need to adjust the rim strap and (in windy conditions) use the chinstrap.Our son is picky when it comes to hats that he will wear; luckily he seems to like this one and will ask for it (and his sunglasses and coat) before going outside. He also has no problem with the chinstrap being used; we adjust it to be fairly snug.Although our son is a little over two, he has a large head for his age â this hat has plenty of room for growth.There is a back-of-neck protector that looks a little tacky but can easily be removed or tucked inside of the hat when not in use.Overall, Iâm really happy with this flexible-sized sunhat.

The material is thin and lightweight making it comfortable to wear and fast drying. My kids used it on a boat and it protected their face, back of the neck and ears from the sun.The chin strap kept the hat from flying away and it was easy to fold up and pack away. It’s not rigid and you don’t have to worry about creasing the hat.The circumference is adjustable so I ordered a size up so my daughter can wear it for a few years.
