It’s got a spa-like herbal whiff and a slight tingle that tells me it’s working. The English instructions could use a polish, but that’s just a heads-up. Overall, it’s a solid pick for a fresh face.
This is not a peal off facial but it is a nice scrub
This exfoliating mask left my skin feeling soft and smooth without being too harsh. The gritty texture provides a satisfying scrub, and it has a pleasant slight tingle. It has a pleasant herbal scent and is easy to apply and rinse off. The instructions could be clearer, especially about how it’s not a traditional peel-off mask, but I got decent results while using it.
This product is from Korea. Both the tube and box it comes in has information in both English and Korean. You’ll want to read the box before you toss it because that’s where the directions and ingredients are printed. Perhaps something was ‘lost in translation’ but contrary to the name, this is not a peeling/peel off mask. Maybe they are referring to a chemical or fruit acid type ‘peel’?The product has earthy, herbal scent that could be considered gender neutral. The instructions say to apply a nickle size amount of product to dry skin, let sit for 10 minutes, and rinse. When I applied the product I noticed plant or other matter that is perhaps for exfoliation while applying or rinsing. I noticed some tingling while the mask was on my skin. When it came time to remove it took a little bit of ‘scrubbing’, so between that and whatever the source of the tingling was, I feel like this mask is a bit much for my slightly sensitive skin. The skin on both my cheeks on either side of my nose, as well as my chin was pink for the next 18 hours or so. I did not notice any actual peeling result or hydration. Overall this product seems a bit harsh for my skin.
I really like this peeling mask. It reminds me of the older exfoliating clays I used to use back in the 90s. It’s got an aggressive grit to it, super exfoliating. It works fine if just applied and immediately washed back off but it really shines if you let it sit on your skin for 5-10 minutes. I use it with an exfoliating mitt instead of a wash cloth and it’s like I have a whole new skin after I’m done. So amazing. Highly recommended!
