Silencieux et confortable
J’ai acheté le tire lait de Avent apres avoir acheté le tire lait swing de Medela, je vais donc me permettre de comparer les deux.Lorsque que j’ai reçu la boîte, j’ai ete un peu déçu du nombre de pièces comparé au Medela qui semble plus petit. Mais au finale, le Avent se demonte mieux pour le lavage et est facile a assembler.En ce qui a trait au confort d’utilisation, c’est le jour et la nuit. La coupole en silicone fait toute la différence. En plus le Avent semble s’adapter a toutes les poitrines, un gros avantage quand on a jamais utilisé de tire lait et qu’on ne connait pas sa taille.La puissance d’aspiration par contre semble meilleur du côté de Medela, mais c’est assez subtil.Le tire lait de Avent tiens bien dans les soutiens gorge d’allaitement, il est relativement léger et les pièces sont adaptés aux biberons Avent, le préféré de mon bébé.Bref je le recommande si vous êtes une nouvelles utilisatrices ou une utilisatrices de Medela qui n’est pas nécessairement vendu au produit.Pour les utilisatrices de Medela qui sont satisfaites et aime les produits, je suis pas certaine que ça vaille la peine de passer à Avent
Good Pump
Overall this is a really good pump. I currently exclusively pump for my baby.Some things I like about this pump include that it is easy to clean and doesnât require any special brushes etc to clean it. I do find however, that it has a few more parts to clean than my Medela pump.This pump is also light and small, so easy to travel with if needed. The cushion that comes with the pump makes pumping more tolerable compared to my Medela pump. It is comfortable and fairly easy to use.I only own avent bottles and love them. So I also like that this pump can attach directly to my bottles for less cleanup and then I can just put the bottle in fridge.My output on this pump is same as my Medela (a hospital grade pump) and the cost for this pump is much cheaper and very reasonable.Being that I exclusively pump I prefer a double pump but I think this pump would be great for a breastfeeding mom that wants to empty side baby is not feeding on.
Great for a Breastfeeding Mom That Wants a Small Freezer Stash!
This pump has some great features; including a long cord, it has a silicone cushion in the flange making it more comfortable than the hard plastic flanges, is small – similar in size to an iPhone and is easy to adjust with saved features. I didnât find I needed the full suction to empty which left room to move up and down with the suction if needed. I used this pump during weaning which was helpful as it was very soft on my breast. I typically use a smaller flange (17mm) however I didnât have any pain or discomfort using this larger size. It did take a few minutes to get my milk flowing each time but it was t unreasonably long.As someone that typically exclusively double pumps there were some things that I would like to see improved. I prefer portable pumps, even though the cord was longer I still wanted the freedom to move. As the flange is built in I was unable to use my pumping bra, I didnât like that there wasnât a timer to see how long I had pumped (although easily fixed by using a timer on my cell phone.) I would also like to see a âsmall and largeâ cushion option, even though the flange was comfortable during use I know how important fit is and would like to see a pump on the market accommodate to the 17-19mm flange size range. I also found it wasnât as quiet as my other pump, but was reasonable. A little louder than a cell phone on vibrate and I found the pull on the expression phase to be a little shorter than what I prefer.Bottom Like: Great pump for a full-time breastfeeding mom wanting to have a freezer stash or feed an occasional bottle.
Could use some improvements!
I breastfeed 80% of the time and 20% is pumping. I purchased this one after Bellababy hands-free kne gave me a lot of pain and was not able to take out all the milk I had. This one was my second choice because of price point. I have used Madela symphony one in the hospital but it needed a lot of hand expressing to get all the milk out. This one initially looked perfect because I didn’t have to do lot hand expressing. There are quite a few design flaws- the silicone flanges leak milk back into your clothes if you sit in upright position. This can hurt your back in long in my opinion. Also, the silicone flanges don’t really fit tight into the cup, after the pumping session it becomes a mess to remove these from the nursing bra.- I used 28mm flanges for Madela. Since this one has very short silicone flange mouth(neck), after a point these start hurting as well. I wish that was a bit longer to accommodate larger nipples.- it’s pretty loud. I often avoid pumping when my baby is sleeping because it’s pretty loud for others not to notice.I would love to order if they have 28mm or longer neck flanges to avoid the discomfort. I will still keep it because I cannot keep ordering more pumps and Madela is out of budget.
