Finally a bottle that doesnât collapse!
So I was asked to give a review of the Phillips Avent Natural baby bottle. The only major con for me is the size and shape of the bottle itself. I donât prefer the short and wide shape. It unfortunately yields to less ease placing in and out of my bottle warmer and in and out of the bottle holders in my diaper bag.With that aside, a HUGE plus for me with this bottle is that I am very happy with the nipple of the bottle, it is very sturdy and doesnât collapse mid-feed like the other bottles I have used. I find other nipples will kind of âsquishâ inward while our baby is sucking which makes her cry and be fussy obviously because she then canât suck any milk out, and then I have to constantly pull the nipple back out again with my fingers which on top of that creates sanitation issues. I am so happy I donât have that issue with the design of the Phillips Avent nipple. Overall our baby likes it too, as she is quick to drink from it, and I donât need to spend time trying to get her to accept the nipple and successfully suck from it. Overall rating: 8/10
Breast fed baby had no trouble with this bottle and nipple!
I was asked to test out the Philips-Avent Natural Baby Bottle by Parent Life Network as a #PLNPro and give my honest opinion of this product. My husband and I were both pretty worried about giving our daughter a bottle. The last bottle she had was when she was a newborn! Nevertheless, my daughter needs to bottle feed soon because I have some events coming up where I will be away for a couple evenings. So, I pumped some breast milk, put it in the new bottle and, no problem! She can hold the bottle herself and had no issue figuring out what to do. She was very happy about using the bottle. She was also very happy to snuggle with Dad and have some milk.

These were the first bottles we bought for my son and theyâre still his favourite! The wide nipple helps a lot (heâs had latching issues so Iâm very grateful for that). Donât make the mistake of thinking you need to buy an anti-colic vent with these because the vent is built right into the bottle! Love these.
Avoid these bottles!
Avoid these bottles! They leak about every 3 or 4 uses, spilling milk all over your child and yourself. We invested in 12 of these but Iâm seriously considering throwing them out and getting a different brand. Only buy them for someone you dislike!

These bottles work really well for colic… we split our collection between these and Dr. Brown’s. Warning: The nipple did not work with our previously purchased Avent bottles from ~2 years ago. It fits but it leaks… same with the lid, it fits with the new nipple but leaks.

Donât know yet for durability as l just received it but so far so good. Baby likes it, he can hold it up all the way through a feeding, unlike the big ones he usually used. Flow seems good and they have different nipples for that, that all fit on the same bottle so no need to change the whole thing when Baby grows. It was easy to assemble and is top-rack dishwasher safe so thumbs up from this mama!

I love that these bottles work with my spectra flanges. We’ve tried just about every bottle, and these are what my baby uses (I’m an exclusive pumper). She uses the slowest flow size 0 nipple (purchased separately), but I still have to pace feed with it. Without pace feeding, it takes under 5 minutes for my baby to drink 4oz, which is way too fast. With pace feeding, we can extend it out to 10-15 minutes. I wish the nipple was still a little bit slower, but these are the best bottles we’ve tried so far and we’ve tried over 20 other brands. I loved Comotomo too, but those fall over easily and aren’t compatible with my spectra, so these come out ahead.
I received one in my Welcome Box from Amazon for hosting my baby registry via Amazon. I decided to purchase a second so I can use it with my Cimilre breast pump. The mouth of the Avent bottles fit perfectly with the breast pump flanges that came with the pump, without the need for an adapter.I gave it 4 stars because the bottle’s nipple wore out quickly from repeated washing and the pin holes started letting milk out too quickly (faster than a level 1 should) so now I just use the bottles with the pump and not for feeding my baby.
