We got this for diaper changes downstairs on the couch. It’s absolutely perfect, easy to fold up and put away when not using and pull it back out again when needed. I just wish it were a smidge bigger, as our little one is very wiggly and if I want to put the dirty diaper on the mat as opposed to on the couch, it’s hard to find somewhere where she won’t get her hand or foot in it. We’ve also had multiple instances where she pees during the diaper change and it ran off the pad and onto the couch. So definitely not absorbent – we just wipe it off with a Clorox wipe if she leaks onto it (not sure what the cleaning instructions are).

Thankfully I read all the reviews, I was about to get the one with the cute heart patterns but decided to get the plain one. No problems with the plain one, it fits in the diaper bag perfectly, baby seems comfortable on it and easy to clean.

We bought before baby was born and brought it to the maternity hospital to use.Since then, we use it out and about and find it very practical, lightweight and best of all easy to clean! Itâs very durable and lightweight and can fit into any changing bag or pram.In fact, we prefer this mat to our expensive shnuggle.
