Reviews

  1. Vet recommended
My vet recommended this brand to me for its speed and aquracy. It’s pretty high tech really but the instructions were easy to follow

  2. Working good
    Good price/quality

  3. Good, uncomplicated thermometer
This is a pretty decent thermometer. The readings are more consistent than those obtained by in-ear or contact-less models, and only take 5-seconds or so to obtain. The display is large and easy to read, and the backlight is colour-coded for quick classification (fevers show RED, normal shows GREEN).I figured the flexible sensor probe was a gimmick, until I tried it –> fantastic feature, way more comfortable than a rigid thermometer, making it easy to keep one’s mouth closed and not gag for the 5-seconds it takes before the device beeps and signals it has a good reading.Good bit of kit for the price!

  4. Easy to use.
It is easy to use and fast and accurate

  5. Arrived with a dead battery on second order
Returned the first one that did not work even after i put in a new battery. Decided to orfer a new one. Same thing happened on 2 nd unit. Battery showed exhausted. This one was also defective. Retuned second one and asked for refund. End of story

  6. Works!
Exactly as advertised, gets the job done – very basic and nothing too fancy. Also accurate, haven’t had issues with it so far and I’ve had it for several months.

  7. A must have
Haven’t used it yet but seems fine

  8. Works just fine
    Simple, works fine, quick!

  9. I like how easy it is to use this Digital Thermometer:1. Press the blue color button to turn on the thermometer.2. Within seconds, I see three dashes (- – -) and F (or C). Then, I place the probe under my tongue.3. After about 7 seconds, I start hearing beeps, and this lets me know my temperature has been taken.note: in the video I made, there is no noise after my temperature has been taken; but, that is because the thermometer was too far from my webcam, which was not able to record the beeps.Once I am done taking my temperature, I can press the blue color button to turn off the thermometer, or if I forget, the thermometer turns off by itself in about 10 minutes. The included owner’s manual has easy-to-understand instructions on how to:— switch between Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius (C)— use this thermometer for oral, for underarms, for rectal, for bath (I love having the option to choose among these methods!).This thermometer uses a coin-size battery (CR2032), which is included. I did not find it too difficult to open the battery compartment.Overall, I find this digital thermometer useful, as it’s given each of our family members a temperature reading that is in line with our current healthy status.

  10. Easy to read at night, fast. The C/F mode switching is a bit tricky but not an issue if it’s not used often.

  11. The Physio Logic Accuflex 5VU Digital Thermometer with Five Second Results, Clinically Proven Accuracy has a lot of instructions to read through before you use it. It is actually pretty easy to use though. It has a solid plastic case for protection which does have ventilation holes at the bottom so you still want to store the thermometer in a clean place. You can use this multiple ways to take temperatures and you can switch between the modes pretty easily. You can switch between F and C as well. The flexible tip surprised me for a moment but it easier to take temperatures that way.You can change the battery on this thermometer which is better than having to discard the old one when the battery died.It is good to keep a thermometer on hand so you have one when you need it.

  12. I prefer a regular digital thermometer to the forehead variety. I feel that they are more accurate even though they need to go under the tongue or under the arm. Still I like to have one in case my forehead one reads high. I feel like it offers more accuracy. This one works great and is super easy to ready. Besides that it’s a very good valueThanks for reading my review

  13. First off it would be helpful if these things had easy to read directions instead of these tiny sheets of microscopic print. After locating the part in my own language I followed the steps. Step one is to press power for five seconds, then there should be a beep but there is no beep. Next I’m to press power again to cycle through the method options, I want oral so I press until, or maybe it’s when, I see Orl. Okay so next I’m to press power again and should again hear a beep. Again I do not get a beep and the LED screen goes blank. I have tried so many of these and none have ever worked so now I’m thinking it must be me. Right? I wish there was a digital thermometer that was simple, set up for oral readings only, in Fahrenheit, and no memory from last use. Just push a button, actually hear a beep indicating its ready, put the thing under my tongue, and hear a beep when it’s ready to read. I had one like that eons ago and it was so easy to use. My problem is that I can’t read a glass thermometer, my vision is too poor, and even with a digital I have to use a lighted magnifying glass but at least I can see it.
