PicassoTiles Magnet Cube Prehistoric World Themed Mix and Match Building Block Construction Toy with 4 Magnetic Cubed Dinosaur Character Action Figures STEM Education Sensory Pretend Play Age 3+ PMC04

Excellent toy that really brings out a child’s creative side. Sturdy and well made as well.
These things are addicting. I got lost playing with these for hours the other day with my kids, the whole stretch between breakfast n lunch, hahaha, good times. We have 8 different sets of these so be warned. One set is not enough to get very creative. They are like a safer version of Legos when littles are crawling around. And just like Legos, one set is like the gateway drug to the addiction that is this new type of building blocks. Even after the 3rd set the boys quickly ran out of blocks when they were just trying to build off there own creativity and would get frustrated begging for more and is now our go to gift for birthdays/x-mas. They get so excited when they get a new set and starts the obsession all over again. I think we’re just over 400 blocks now and we’re finally at a point the boys seem to have enough that they’re not running out and asking for more. We did end up with one odd ball set that is a slightly different size than the rest so it didn’t incorporate well so keep an eye on that if you get more to make sure you stick with the same size every time.
I recently had the pleasure of exploring the PicassoTiles Magnet Cube Prehistoric World Themed set, and I must say, itâs a delightful toy that sparks creativity and learning. Here are my thoughts:Magnetic Cubes with Dinosaur Magic: This set features 72 magnet pieces across 6 cubes, each measuring 1âx1â. The cubes are adorned with printed designs, allowing you to create 6 unique puzzle landscapes. But thatâs not allâthe real magic lies in the 4 magnetic cubed dinosaur character action figures that come with it.Mix and Match Fun: The cubes can be stacked, combined, and rearranged to form various scenes. Whether your little ones want to build a prehistoric jungle, a dino-themed castle, or a mysterious fossil excavation site, these cubes provide endless possibilities. The tactile experience of connecting the magnets is both satisfying and engaging.STEM Learning in Disguise: As an advocate for STEM education, I appreciate how this toy seamlessly integrates learning. Kids explore visual perception, practice counting, understand geometrical shapes, and even dabble in 3D architectural designâall while having a blast. Itâs like stealth learning!Imaginative Play: The 4 dinosaur charactersâTyrannosaurus rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and Pterodactylâadd an extra layer of excitement. Your nephews can create epic dino battles, rescue missions, or even invent their own prehistoric stories. The possibilities are as vast as the Mesozoic era!Safe and Non-Toxic: PicassoTiles prioritizes safety. These magnetic cubes are BPA-free and non-toxic, ensuring worry-free playtime. As an aunt or uncle, thatâs music to your ears, right? And speaking of music, I can almost hear the enthusiastic roars of approval from your nephews!Nephew-Approved!My nephews absolutely loved this set. They spent hours constructing dino habitats, arranging the cubes, and making up wild adventures. Itâs a win-win: they had fun, and I secretly reveled in their educational play. So, if youâre looking for a gift that combines imagination, learning, and prehistoric excitement, the PicassoTiles Magnet Cube Prehistoric World Themed is a fantastic choice.
These blocks are so fun! And they definitely have a Dinotopia vibe about them with the dinosaurs mixed with an ancient civilization. The blocks came as advertised, 1″ by 1″ and there are 72 of them.I find that with these magnetic blocks it’s important to pay attention to the dimensions, especially if you want to mix and match them, as we have done. Sometimes other brands have said that their blocks are 1″ when they are really 0.8″, which leads to disappointment because the blocks are so small. There really are the larger size, and it’s a better size, I feel, for younger children. The itty bitty ones have the benefit of stronger bridges sometimes because the magnets don’t have to hold up as much, but these blocks performed those tasks very well. The dinosaurs are really cute, the way they click together and are printed to make nice bodies. And the baby! Gosh, I love the baby dinosaur!6 of the cubes make 6 respective background scenes, and those blocks could be taken from the rest for some fun puzzle time, which is pretty awesome. My only complaint is that it took over a month to arrive. That may have more to do with it being a new product that they’re ironing out, and I’m a Vine reviewer, but it did seem like it took a long time. There are a lot of reviews now, so maybe mine just got lost somehow. In any case, it’s not that big of a deal because I am stowing this one away for Christmas. I think my kids will love it, and I’m excited for them to get it!
This was a present for my 3 year old. She plays with them almost daily! However, to do the actual pictures on the box is extremely difficult and way above a 3 year olds level. She just likes putting them together and building towers out of them. She also uses them to count. The snapping together and pulling apart is pretty satisfying for sensory seeking as well. The pictures are cute and it would be fun to build them. My 13 year old found it pretty challenging the time he tried to follow it. A lot of the pieces look very similar and they have different designs on each side. The blocks are also small and could be a choking hazard! We love them but mainly just as magnetic blocks and not the dinosaur playset.
