Inexpensive and popular with the kid
It’s louder than I’d prefer and there is no volume control. There is an off/on switch. The sensors are light sensors and sense the puzzle piece by it blocking the light. This means random shadows can trigger it. I’m sure these are by design to keep the cost of manufacturing low. If you curb your expectations for a puzzle so inexpensive, it’s great and if your child loves baby shark as much as mine, they will love it.

My son loves it! He loves it so much, that I have to put it away every once and a while. Sometimes momma just canât take that song all day long.Itâs a well made wooden puzzle, heâs dropped it many times, and played with the sharks for other purposes (my son is rough with his toys). Everything still looks and sounds like when I purchased this months ago!Not disappointed by this purchase and the quality of the product was excellent.

Our son loves this puzzle but the baby shark song plays intermittently and the images on the puzzle pieces are coming off. Overall lâd say the quality of the product is poor.
Cute puzzle! – not chew proof
The puzzle is cute and plays the baby shark song – each shark plays its corresponding part of the song. However, my child likes to put everything in their mouth and the puzzle pieces are pressed board with a sticker and absorb the moisture from my child’s mouth. The stickers started to peel shortly after playing which ruins the puzzle.Also the puzzle pieces are light activated so if using it in a dimly lit room the puzzle will go off randomly if pieces are removed. Also if child has all pieces off, and is trying to put a piece in it will play all shark song segments that their hand passes over or body. This can get irritating very fast as it switches between each song part.
Sound did not work.
We bought this for my sonâs birthday and when we gave it to him we tried to put new batteries in and it wonât turn on/make any sounds. Very disappointed as we waited two months to give it to him (ordered it early when it was on sale) and it wouldnât work.

Está de buena calidad, se ve de un material resistente, creà que solo era un rompecabezas de piezas grandes pero también trae una pequeña bocina supongo para cuando pongas cada uno en su lugar debe hacer algún sonido, lo cual me parece bien, aún no le pongo baterÃas para probar como suena pero en cuanto lo haga actualizo mi opinión.
My daughters love this wooden puzzle. The first one we received stopped working correctly after only a few uses, it wouldn’t make noise and then when it did, it would be for the wrong shark. I.e. the baby shark would be put in its place but the “daddy shark” part would play instead. Amazon quickly sent out a replacement and there have been no issues with the new one. My one year old LOVES sliding the sharks into place and hearing their part of the song. This puzzle has really been helping with her fine motor skills and problem solving, for when the shark won’t fit in the spot she wants to put it.
The toddler loves it, as he’s crazy about baby shark. The toy itself is nothing special or over complicated, it has an on and off switch (thank god), no way to regulate the volume. The music is activated whenever something touches the, er, music activator. It doesn’t need to be the exact shark, or need to be shark at all, as touch also activates it. It also reacts to the cat’s paws much to her amazement.If your child likes baby shark and toddler shape puzzles, this will suit them.
