Very cute bedside lamp
I always love these kind of lamps and would recommend it for anyone with kids, especially those without it if it fits with their aesthetics. Silicone lamps are great to have with kids because if, and when it gets knocked down you can be sure there will almost never have any irreplicable damages to it. They’re easily operable with settings at the bottom. You “bop” the lamp to cycle it on, switch through the light mode, and turn it off. Very easy and painless to use.It has a built-in battery and the charge lasts quite awhile. I usually just keep mine plugged in because I don’t tend to have a need to move them around. The design is quite cute with the duck astronaut riding around on this planetoid moon cloud.
Very cute, works well, charge port is hard to reach
We have a series of these little silicone lamps, and they’re all very cute. They’re nice and soft, and “tapping” them causes the lamp inside to go from dim to bright to off. It also has a timer so it turns off after a period of time if it’s untouched. The entirety of the surface of this is silicone, so you don’t have to worry about any hard edges.Charging the battery on this lamp is managed via a USB-C connector on the bottom. There’s a USB-A to C cable included, but you have to bring your own charger. I did find that the charging port on this one is a little harder to reach than other similar lamps we have. It’s recessed in the bottom and there’s a channel for the charging cable to come out the back. Because of the placement, it’s a little fiddlier than most of them. It’s not a big deal, but just something to be aware of – younger children may find it frustrating to plug in the charger, but if a parent helps them, it’ll probably be fine.
Functional but not great.
Build quality wise it’s good. Mostly silicone with a plastic base, no strange off-gassing or powder when opening. The light is plenty bright for a nightlight, and the switch is either on or timer, which is nice as I know it won’t waste an excess amount of battery life. The downside though, and it’s a big one, is that the touch sensor is absolutely atrocious. Half the time it doesn’t register my taps, another 30% of the time it registers two taps for one, leaving only 20% of the time where it actually works. Which, for a touch sensitive light where touch is the only way to adjust the brightness, is kind of a core function. So despite the fact that it’s a cute light, it gets 2 stars knocked off because of the poor touch sensor. However, if you’re just planning on turning it on and leaving it until the timer goes off it’s still a neat looking lamp; just be aware that using the touch sensor will likely be an exercise in frustration.
Super cute and great quality
I have a silicone lamp collection (my husband says I have a problem), and this little guy is very good quality. It works just like most of them: touch it to turn it off and on, plug it in to charge it. Does not need batteries or a wall outlet. The light is soft, so it could be used as a nightlight.The design is a little more intricate than most, and it’s done very well. Highly recommend!
Awesome night light
A very cool light that looks nice and does a good job at illuminating the surroundings. You turn it on and off by squishing it, which makes it fun to use. It has 3 brightness levels and you charge it through a USB cable. I love that it runs on a rechargeable battery and it can be moved from one room to another in a second. Very convenient and cool looking!
I love this night light
I got this night light for my room. I got this so I can see if I wake up in the dark. I like that this is rechargeable, and you can place it anywhere. Trying to find an outlet for a night light can be difficult. I like that the light doesn’t get hot, so I can touch it no problem. Also it’s nice and soft. I would order this again no problem. It is also great to give as a gift for a new baby.
Cute, but nothing special
Got this for a family member with a kid that loves space. It was underwhelming to say the least. More of a blob of a light than anything that would be nice. It is soft, and you can give it a smack to turn up/down the brightness but other than that, it’s not too appealing. Great for a really, really young kid, but if they are older and likes space, look else where.like 2-3yrs old is ok

Big fan and collector of these lights but I’ve promised this one to my great-nephew to be. This one just has a white light with three brightness levels. All obtained by…that’s right, a squeeze. The obligatory timer function completes the set up. This one is in the shape of a planet with an astronaut and a rocket making a change from the usual animals. Shame I’ve promised this to my little Soprano to be, I want it for my collection. Works as well as others I have and is soft and rubbery to the touch. Something which I extremely like, something which I’m getting extreme therapy for.The usb plug can be a pfaff to get into its socket but no big deal. A lovely light and a nice sized one too. Can’t wait for my own one now.
Got this for a 6yr olds room, and he loves it! It’s actually quite large. Quality is lovely, and the squishy light seems nice and durable. Multiple brightness settings to cover either reading or sleeping. The only issue is the price (currently £23). You can get light of similar style and quality for close to half that.

The only reason why I am giving it a star lower than a perfect score is because of the price – there are cheaper alternatives and I would recommend checking those out first.Everything else is great – it looks wonderfully cute, it is relatively bright, you can charge it with a type-C cable, you can squish the whole thing, and it just looks very nice, despite it being slightly large.
