I bought this thing back in 2019 and just wanted to say that it’s lasted very well. It’s easy to clean, still looks good, and is easy to move and store in the warmer months. Well worth what I paid for it.

good purchase
We purchased the screen to put in front of our woodburning stove in order to provide protection for our toddler grandson. This has worked out very well. Easy to store, never gets hot and protects the little one in case he stumbles near the stove.
Good value
Certainly good value for the money and looks good when installed. Handles however do get hot during operation and in some cases too hot to operate without gloves

I couldn’t be happier with a product. It is sturdy, attractive, and is a perfect fit. The open area of my fireplace is approximately 36″ long and 33″ high. The hearth area is about 14″ wide. When I ordered this, I was afraid that it would be too big for my area, but it is absolutely perfect! I love having the handles, too. It makes it easy to move and is a piece of cake to set up. I cannot say enough good things about this product or about my satisfaction. I highly recommend it.
I bought this to temporarily cover my new gas fireplace until my MUCH more expensive glass-doored screen arrived. I have two dogs who shed like crazy. This has kept the fur off the embers and out of the fireplace. it’s stylish (I’ve had a ton of compliments) lightweight & easy to move. Just what I needed! Did I mention how inexpensive this was?
For the money (and I have bought many of these in my day) this is a GREAT fireplace screen. Very adjustable to the size of the fireplace. I find nothing wrong with the product. Excellent VALUE and THAT is the name of the game.
This fireplace screen looks very nice on our hearth. Compared to our old screen, it is quite lightweight. Our old screen was a serious piece of metal and very well made. After 25 years of service, the screen was coming loose across the top. This screen hardly compares to that one, but it does the job. It is also much easier for my wife to handle, but also easier for an errant log to shove out of the way. So, there you go. It does the job, looks good, but is not heavy duty. It does not appear flimsy to me, though.
This makes the fireplace safer so sparks can’t get out. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t wobble, which is important with a busy toddler in the house. It looks really good and makes the whole fireplace look more polished and finished. We are very satisfied with the price, quality, and appearance of this fireplace screen.
