I love it.
Our gas fireplace (stove) is near our front window and I was concerned about the drapes touching the stove. We had the stove moved out a bit, but I was still concerned. I put this screen on the back of the stove to keep the curtains away from the stove. I also used three decorative flat stones so that the screen doesn’t sit on the gas connection. This is a very nice screen, smooth clean lines. I love it and I don’t worry about the drapes being burnt… or the house for that matter.

This product looks nice, fits great but is not a sturdy on a flat surface. It wobbles in one side and therefore needs some fixing on the bottom.

My fireplace is in my basement. and I leave the room more than I’m in it. I had purchased a screen which was fine. But then purchased this screen so as to have a double screening. Worked out well, as this screen is even Taller than first giving even further protection.
Disappointed
Structurally disappointing. Welded very quick without quality.
Needed a craftsman style to bold to the wall to prevent tennants from using the fireplace in my vacation rental. This was affordable and looks great. It is sturdy enough to prevent tennants from prying it loose and sturdy enough to use as a stand alone (as intented). Very happy with it.
Itâs large enough to cover my entire fireplace, whereas some were a bit smaller and didnât look right. I like the clean lines and feel that it matches a brick layout rather nicely. If youâre into ornate and scroll style, this might not be for you. The cover feels sturdy and always keeps its place without ever being knocked over by pets or kids. Iâm very happy with this purchase.
It is sturdy enough that is won’t fall over on its own, but it would knock over easily if you push into it or kids playing around it. It looks great though and we haven’t had any sparks get through it. Very happy with it and love the look.
I hate my fireplace. Its old and ugly. This makes it look SO MUCH BETTER! Really a great price on a great product! So happy I tried it.upon arrival, one of the hinges was bent and some of the coloring on the piece was a bit worn. Nothing outwardly obvious so I kept it. Maybe if it had been packaged better…
Very nice and much sturdier than our previous screen, which our kids were always bumping in to and causing to fold inward. With the ends of this screen placed inside the trim surrounding our fireplace the screen stays pretty firmly in place. You can bump it good enough to cause it to fold a bit but it holds up good enough to satisfy what we were looking for. For example, we have a roomba and it could bump our old screen while vacuuming and cause it to fold and occasionally fold enough to fall over. This screen just laughs at our roomba as it bumps in to it and heads off in the other direction. For the price…five stars! Have fun!
