Book of how to potty train your child in 3 days
Gave it to my daughter to help her potty train her son
Step by step checklist
I like that she provides free access to a step-by-step checklist for everyday reported training. After a couple of chapters, I tend to forget what I read, so there is a summary before the next chapter. That is helpful.
This book was very helpful in potty training our youngest son. His older brother was in daycare while being potty trained and had a much easier time learning. Our youngest was a bit more challenging, but this book offered great advice and tactics.
Picked this up to help my sister with my nephew. Thankfully has advice on the exact issue of holding it until they canât go, why this might be happening, and what to do about it, which is just what I wanted. There are also a variety of useful reward charts which I think will also be helpful.
This book provides exactly whatâs needed for a smooth potty training experience. The step-by-step plan is clear and easy to follow, with thoughtful advice to keep things stress-free. The focus on boys helps address the different needs and approaches compared to girls. The strategy builds confidence quickly, leaving toddlers diaper-free and feeling proud. This guide is highly recommended for parents seeking a straightforward, no-fuss approach to potty training.
Potty Training for Boys is an excellent book, covering everything that a parent needs to help potty train their little boy. The book is well-written and sets a nice, relaxed tone consistent with the one the book encourages the parent to take. It spells out the challenges faced by little boys, as opposed to girls, who donât have a penis to deal with. Potty Training for Boys, goes into the anatomy of little boys that helps the parents better relate to the challenges they face, from whether to sit or stand when peeing, to bladder capacity. Potty Training for Boys emphasizes the importance of a positive, relaxed attitude and details the signs that a little boy will show that indicate he is ready to be potty trained. The book includes the ability to scan step by step pictures of the potty process to introduce the child to the experience in a relaxed way, and gives step-by-step advice, including troubleshooting. It also goes into the pros and cons of various potties and provides links to sites for purchasing. I solidly recommend this book and feel that it helps ensure that the potty training will be a stress-free experience for all concerned.
There are quite a few potty-training books out there, but the fact that this one is specifically written for little boys makes it stand out. The distinction between potty training for little boys versus little girls is important because of several reasons including the different readiness timelines for each party compared to the other, and also because of the different learning styles/approaches between boys and girls. I am also happy with the fact that this book considers the cultural factors that play a role in potty-training across households, especially since the United States is a mix of so many cultures with their unique practices. Overall, this is a really good book and I have a lot of confident expectations from it.
