What’s not to like?
I have been thinking about getting a toilet stool for some time now. Never sure which style or brand is the best.This foldable toilet stool checked all the boxes and then some! It is sturdy, the right height and I think it’s one of the only ones that I have seen that fold. What a great idea! The locking clips are secure. Yes, they are a little stiff to engage but that is a good thing!I’m not sure what you would put in the aroma holder as none of the fresheners that I have fit, but it is another great feature if you can use it.I honestly can’t say enough good things about this little stool. The quality is good and the price is right. Definitely two thumbs up from me!
If you’re tall, may not be for you
I’ve seen these kinds of stools for a few years now, and I wanted to try one but just never got around to it. Even if it didn’t do what I thought it would, I figured it couldn’t hurt.As is the case with many Amazon products, there are no instructions with this although there are some on the product page. It seems pretty simple though, you just open the legs of it and turn the knobs until it seems stable. It’s designed so that you can fold it and put it away if you need to, but my plan is to just have it in place in the bathroom for when you need it.It fits fairly well against the base of the toilet (there’s no way it could fit exactly against all toilets I don’t think), and seems to mostly be out of the way when not in use. But it’s easy to nudge into place when you want to put your feet up on it.While the textured part seems like a good idea so your feet don’t slide off, I think that will make it a bit more difficult to clean. It is very sturdy, strong enough for even heftier people like me to use. I think I could even stand on it if necessary to say, change a ceiling light bulb in the bathroom.There are two somewhat negative aspects: The bottom of it needs rubber or something to grip the floor, it slides a bit. Not dangerously, but it slowly moves away when you’re using it. A second thing to consider is the length of your legs. I’m 5’11 and it isn’t super comfortable for me, I think it raises my legs maybe a bit too high. My teenager is away at school, but at 6’8 I think his knees would be up at chest level if he were to put his feet up on it.Overall though I think this is useful, especially for standard sized people. It’s sturdy, it stores easily out of the way and I think is helpful for the intended usage. I would order this again.
Would definitely recommend this little stool. I’d wanted to try a squatty potty for a while but didn’t want it sitting in front of the toilet 24/7 as I have pets who would use it to climb up. Very easy to fold this stool away and leave it in the corner of the bathroom. You only need to unfold it and click the orange pieces in place to set it up.I was a bit worried about how the instructions say you need to use force on the orange pieces as I don’t have great hand strength. But you really only have to force them to click once and then they slide so it’s really not very hard at all.It says it can take the weight of two people and I can’t say I tested that but it seems sturdy enough for one person to step on it very briefly is what I would say. For a toilet stool it is absolutely brilliant and love the added feature of being able to store it away and reassemble it in 10 seconds.
Have been looking for such a contraption to assist with going potty.Many similar items are not suitable as some of them are made of wood and/or non-collapsible.This toilet stool is super solid and has been useful for all family members from being used as extra height for the children to a more effective defecating position (closely simulates the alternative squat).A surprising benefit that weâve noticed since we started using the toilet stool is that the sitting position allows for a less messy (ie less toilet rolls) cleaning after finishing onesâ business.It is easily foldable (for adults) but we keep it always assembled for the kids to use at any time.Would recommend to anyone who is interested in trying a more effective method to pass motion and/or a household with young children looking to find a multifunctional assistant that is solid.
