A Super Fun and Adorable Robot That Kids Love
This simple robot is easy to playâjust connect the rechargeable battery (it comes disconnected as it is recommended if not using it for a while) with the included screwdriver, and you’re good to go.Shaped like a cute astronaut, kids are instantly drawn to it. You can manually adjust its head and arms to create different poses, adding to its charm. The robot is quite sturdy and can walk forward, backward, spin around, sing songs, and even dance, all controlled by touching different touch points of the robot or using voice commands (there are 12 voice commands listed in the manual .) Other than the power button, there are no buttons to push, so kids can jump right into playing as soon as itâs turned on.One feature that really excites the kids is the voice recording. I recorded their names, and itâs as if the astronaut is calling out to them from space, making them feel extra special. For younger kids, parents can join in the fun, turning it into a great family bonding activity!

Exceeded my expectations
I have always been a fan of electronic toys and even though I am no longer a kid I am still fascinated with how far technology has come causing features to go up and prices to go down.I saw this little robot and honestly because of the price I was a bit skeptical. I had to give it a try and thought it would be a great gift for a niece or nephew.The robot came very well packaged in a giftable box.It comes with a rechargeable battery, a USB cable to charge the battery, a user manual, a small screwdriver to open the battery door, and a small adhesive pad for attaching the battery inside the battery compartment if you want. You charge the battery before putting it into the robot.After charging the battery you use the small screwdriver to open the battery compartment. I found the screw was very tight and was concerned I was going to strip the head of the screw so I used a slightly larger screwdriver than the one supplied and it worked fine. After removing the screw once it’s a lot easier to remove the next time.There is a power button on the back of the robot that turns him on.Multiple areas on the robot are touch-sensitive and cause the robot to perform specific actions. You can touch the belly and the robot will record your voice so you can play it back.The feature I like the best is the voice-activated function. There is a list of commands that you can use to make the robot dance, sing, moonwalk, move forward, etc.These commands work very well.The robot has a face made out of LED lights that move making it look like he is speaking.The sound quality is surprisingly good.The robot moves well on a hard floor and not too bad on a thin carpet.I am very impressed with this little robot. It has definitely exceeded my expectations and the price is very low and great value for your money.I do recommend this robot to anyone, of any age but especially for kids 3+.

I ordered this robot for my son. A fun little companion for kids but not always responsive. May drive parents nuts.
This super cute robot responds to both voice commands and touch controls to sing, dance, playback recorded sounds and move around. Response to the commands and touch are not always accurate though. For example, saying Bye-bye is supposed to put the robot in sleep mode but it confused it for the “Where are you going” command most of the times. Now imagine if the commands were from a small kid who lacks the enunciation skills of Patrick Stewart and you can imagine the result.On a more positive side, the dot matrix eyes that light up in various configurations to accompany the different actions is a fun inclusion.The overall craftsmanship of the robot is not too shabby and it looks like it could be fairly durable if treated with a modicum of care i.e. not thrown around like a tennis ball too often.However, the robot not recommended if you’re allergic to repeated loud music and sounds. If offered as a gift, it may easily become a child’s new bestie (at least until their next toy) while the parents silently (or not so silently) curse your name for their recurring headaches. So offer it to your favourite nephew or niece or to your most disliked friend… both work.
