3+ age rating
I held off on ordering this for some time for my 2 year old based off the the item title stating it’s for 12 months, causing me to believe my daughter was too old for this toy. Once I received this toy set I noticed on the box it states the age recommendation is 3 years and greater. I am comfortable allowing my 2 year old to play with these, with limited supervision. There aren’t too many small pieces, although some of the tasks require more dexterity which may be more difficult, the younger the child. These are very reminiscent to toys that would come in a love every play kit for a fraction of the price. My daughter brought this set into daycare, and it was a hit with kids as old as 4. The quality is good, constructed out of smooth wood with no blemishes. I would definitely recommend.
Simple pieces of coloured wood
Toys are as expected. The sorting game has been the most popular, more specifically, the sound that the pieces make when they fall through.The drum literally was ignored. Will try again later since she’s still young. The disc dowel stck is also ignored, mainly because she can’t reach when sitting down or on her knees.I suppose this is on purpose, hopefully as she grows she will find the others more interesting, especially the mirror, which I was surprised she didn’t care for.The finish of the wood pieces are good, there are some rough patches here and there but not too big of a deal.
Fun product improperly advertised
Item arrived dented with packaging untouched meaning it was packaged already dented. Item sticks do not sit in holed to be pulled out as picutrd appear but fully fall down into the holes.Toy functions well otherwise and is a great tool for those 6-10 months as a starting age point. I am unsure about quality and safety of paint yet but will update one tested.
Intriguing
The spinning wheel is a favourite and I’m hoping the other toys can be just as intriguing when my LO gets older.
Great for young kids
This is a great toy for young kids it is Montessori friendly and it’s durable and well made. You can use it for educational purposes to teach about different shapes or colors and you can also use it just to play with a young one so that they can explore. Very cool love this.
decently priced
This collection of baby toys from Quokka comes with a spinning drum, sorting cube, and discs on a dowel. Quokka says this collections is suitable for babies up to 3 years old, but I think most toddlers will be bored with this set by about 18 months. The toys are about the same qualities as the ones you purchase individually, so this collection is good value at the current price of $33 CAD.
We got this toy when my daughter was one but even at two, she loves this toy! Itâs so easy to rotate and mix up what activity she can do. She loves the colored pegs and naming the colors and matching them to their correct hole. The carrots with tweezers are a fun idea to help with fine motor skills. The coin drop is always a hit with my kiddo. I love that you get so many different activities for a great price!
Weâve encouraged several mum friends to buy this as well, itâs excellent!! My 2 year old loves the changeable activities and I travel with this as a multi function toy, we just leave the ball drop box at home. I spent a long time deciding which to get, the size and activities of this were perfect for us
This toy can be used from early on through preschool age. As a retired preschool and pre-K teacher, I highly recommend this toy! Great construction, no splinters. Easy for little hands to use. Great imagination as well as educational toy!Is there a way to order more of just the boxes, Please?
