couldnt even fully assemble it because the instructions for the base was very unclear
The listing was a little confusing. The picture has been updated to the item I received(the original picture was of rounded lower scratch pads). It did not come with clippers or comb, just a small screw driver and rusty screws. I suppose its not a big deal seeing this a disposable item. My cat loves it and will have completely destroyed in a couple weeks.
