Safe and functional
We’ve had these for about 6 months now and they are working well, no injuries so far and they are actually functional for cutting soft fruit and veg, such as banana, thin pieces of apple, halved zucchini, and tomatoes. Pleased with this purchase. One of the best things I’ve bought this year.
Perfect for toddlers
I tested these out and they don’t cut the skin at all, but they’ll do a good job with soft fruits and veggies. Perfect for teaching my toddler to cut bananas!

These have been fantastic for my kids to begin practicing knife skills. After about a year of using these, my oldest has moved on to metal knives, while my five year old likes that he is allowed to use these now. They are so proud to help in the kitchen
My (newly) three year old loves to cook. These are perfect for little chefs. They cut food (bread, fruit, etc) but don’t cut little fingers. They feel pretty sharp so we monitor her closely, but haven’t had any issues.

I got these for our 4 year old who loves to help in the kitchen. We’re not ready for her to use real knifes yet so we got these to teach how to properly cut and learn about knife safety. At first she didn’t want to use them because she recognized that they weren’t like my real knives but when I started using them just for everyday things, she was okay with them! They cut surprisingly well for what they are even apples, cucumbers, etc. Great starter option for young kids.
