I want to share that these puzzles are also good for adults with memory issues like dementia. This is the third set of similar (24 piece) puzzles by Ravensburger that I’ve purchased for my elderly mother who has dementia. I try to do things with her to keep her mind as active as possible and she enjoys doing the puzzles. She is able, with some guidance and encouragement, to put these puzzles together. The pieces are of excellent quality and are large and easy to handle; the colors are vibrant and the images are interesting. She enjoys the process, and is just so delighted every time she gets a piece to fit in the right place.
I bought this for my 5-year-old granddaughter and we spent an enjoyable time together working on it. At first I was concerned that the pieces for the two puzzles were mixed together in the box, rather than being packaged separately. Then I realised that the back of the pieces for one of the puzzles was dotted, which made them easy to separate. That became our first task together. The pieces fit well together & my granddaughter enjoyed putting it together, with a little encouragement from me. We still have the second puzzle to look forward to.
