My daughter loves this – it does it all The light colors can be changed and they’re are some that are brighter than others so it csn be used as a nightlight, noise machine & alarm clock. It has several options for white noise and alarm sounds and is pretty easy to set the sounds, volume and change them. You can plug it in and also have a battery backup incase of power outage. The numbers are large and can read it without having to be close to it. It’s been knocked down a few times over the past year when I brought it but it is well made & she’s had no issues.
Buttons are simple, it’s easy to set different alarm times, dimmer feature is nice. There are several nice colors to choose from for the optional night light and also plenty of white noise sounds including nature sounds. There is literally just a button for each feature of the clock and you either press to change or hold to turn off, that’s it. So intuitive, great for kids
Bought for my sons room. He appreciates the different sounds he can choose from and we like the ease of turning on/off the alarm clock. Simple enough for a 7 year old to operate. Not too bright. Like the dimming effect. Design is sleek and readability easy. Seems to be of good quality.
I bought this clock for two reasons. First, as many others have stated, it is to replace the clock that was below the TV on the cable box, which, has since gone to the “Cord Cutters” graveyard. I like the fact that the numbers are large, but I’m a little unhappy that they look a little bit fuzzy: they’re not crisply defined digits, but eh, at a full inch in height, they’re big enough to see from across a room. I have the screen set to maximum brightness, but it can be set quite dim, or even turned off, you decide. Same goes for the panel on top with all the buttons – you can have it brightly lit with your choice of color, or you can keep it dark.My 2nd reason for selecting this clock is that it plays sounds. My granddaughter uses a sound machine at home, so when she sleeps at my house, she can feel more at home with her favorite ocean waves sound playing. In the description section, play the accompanying video to hear the sounds and click “see more” to read about the other features.Setting the alarm is easy enough, the directions are clear. I suggest keeping the direction sheet stored underneath the clock so you’ll have it handy when you need it, it is a small folded sheet that fits neatly underneath. There’s a variety of sounds to wake up to, and you control what volume they play at.Setting the clock to play sounds is also easy.So why only 4 stars? Well, for me the digits are not pleasing to my eye- I want more definition. Most of the sounds are fine, others sound like they’re playing from inside a tin can. I really like this clock, I just don’t love it. I’d rather be able to give 4 1/2 stars. Overall this clock was definitely worth the price paid and I do recommend to others.
