CSA CLASSIFICATION – This Standard defines a new workplace first aid kit classification system. It follows a scalability approach that will allow organizations improved flexibility in meeting the unique needs of their specific worksites, while still ensuring minimum requirements are set forth based on the number of workers. Good quality kit, but verify contents before use
The contents of the first aid kit appear to be of good quality, and the kit is appropriate for single worker workplaces. However, I would recommend verifying the contents of the kit before relying on it, as mine initially shipped without a cpr barrier mask. Fortunately, the seller was kind enough to offer to ship me the missing item.
Reliable First Aid Kit for On-the-Go Emergencies
Iâm frequently on the road, whether for work or to drive my 18-year-old son to his competitive soccer games across the province. With all this travel, injuries and accidents can happen when you least expect them, so having a first aid kit on hand has become essential for us. This particular kit has been a great addition, as it includes just about everything you might need to handle an emergency.Inside, youâll find a pair of tweezers, adhesive bandages in various sizes, alcohol wipes, wet wipes, gloves, a triangular bandage, a CPR face shield, gauze pads, adhesive tape, and rolls of compression bandagesâall the essentials for basic first aid. Everything is neatly organized in a sturdy, airtight plastic case thatâs easy to carry and store, whether in the car or at home. I also appreciate that several items in the kit are sterile, and those that have expiration dates are good for over two years, which is reassuring. While the kit is quite comprehensive, I did choose to add a few extras myself to make it even more versatile. I included an extra pair of scissors, a few additional triangular bandages (since it only comes with one), and some extra gloves as thereâs only one pair in the original set.Overall, this first aid kit offers excellent value at an affordable price. Iâm genuinely pleased with it and would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a reliable, well-rounded kit for emergencies.
Compact and full!
This personal first aid kid is a good basic kit to have at home, in your car on in your vacation house! It’s quite full with all the necessary items, but you also have enough plae to add specific items that you might find are missing (Like tick removal items by example). It’s easy enough to open and close even for a child but still closes securely if you carry it around. All the items are disposable but not too cheap. It’s clean and has all the essentials. Great choice!
Well-organized and practical
This first aid kit is compact and comes in a waterproof box, making it ideal for solo trips. It includes essential items, though it could use a few more specialized supplies.
Good Basic First Aid Kit
This first aid kit has a good selection of items to have in a minor emergency. All the listed pieces were in the case as described.Note that the case is different though. Instead of the red zippered one shown in the listing, this one is a sturdy white plastic one with snaps. The dimensions are different as well, with this one being about 9.75â x 6.75â. The added benefit that this one has though, is that there are cut outs in the handle to allow it to be wall mounted. The inside is not compartmentalized however, so you would have to take it down before opening (or the contents would fall out). In my case I plan to keep it in the car, so either case would have been fine for me.I hope that I never have to use it but Iâm glad that I ordered it.
Decent selection of items in this First aid kit
I wanted this for my boat and it’s a decent kit for a moderate to mild medical situation. I added a few things to the kit only because on the boat, you can’t run to the store for more stuff. The listing shows what appears to be a fabric bag in red as the case. The kit I got had the same contents but came in a plastic white case. I actually prefer the hard case for the boat to help keep moisture out of the contents.Good kit and a reasonable value.
Good as a starter
The emergency kit that I ordered is labeled as âPlastic Boxâ. This kit is fine as a basic starter kit and I like the plastic box format, which is waterproof and easy to open and easy to close. It also has holes in the âhandleâ that you can probably use to hang it on a wall, if youâd like. The objects inside the kit arenât the most neatly organized, but at least they are loose enough that itâs not difficult to find what you need. (Some emergency first aid kits can be a bit overwhelming with the sheer quantity of items crammed into one small pouch.)Iâm a bit disappointed that this kit doesnât include some larger bandaids, but I suppose thereâs still enough space in the kit for me to add a few more items of my choosing. This probably shouldnât be a big deal, but Iâm also disappointed that the sellerâs sticker was haphazardly stuck to the front of the kit, and when I tried to peel it off, it ended up ripping the front cover sticker. It annoys me because now it looks untidy. That aside, this kit is okay.
