I am a first time mom and heard about bitting my babies nails to trim them but could never bring myself to do it. I was finally tired of being scratched by my babies nails that I decided to order this file. This file is so easy to use and itâs not scary at all, I am able to trim my babies nails in under 5 mins. It is easiest to use while my baby is napping instead of him pulling his hands away. The only thing I think is a con is the position of the light. You have to use the top edge in order for your babies nail to be in the light to see. Otherwise I highly recommend buying this product if you are on the fence about trimming your babies nails. You can also use for yourself and as baby grows.

Works perfectly for newborn babies. I trim my newborn’s nails while he sleeps and he never wakes up while I’m using this trimmer. It’s very soft, even when it’s on, and it trims his nails very well so I don’t have to put mits on my little guy. This is a big plus for me given that sensing the world through touch is so important at the infant stage. Will definitely recommend to moms with infants and would buy again!
I bough two of these after my baby was born. I liked the easy and safe to use features. However, they each lasted less than a year. The second one was only used 3-4 months before it stopped working.
Quiet and works good. Soft against baby skin and nails. However I hardly use mine but my friend uses hers all the time. I bought because afraid to use baby slipper and hurt my baby but it’s not hard and way faster especially when get older and more uncooperative. This is more time consuming. So not preferred by me but works great and good product
