Adorable
Squishy and adorable, that is what this little panda is. I gave it to an adult for Christmas and they loved it. They laughed and said that this will make them smile every time they use it. It’s great as a cute decoration or as a decorative light. I think the person is putting it in their bathroom to bop for light in the middle of the night.

La première chose qui mâest venu à lâesprit en découvrant cette veilleuse fut lâodeur très chimique de celle-ci. Bien sûr, lâodeur finira par sâévaporer, mais elle surprend énormément, surtout pour une veilleuse pour enfant en silicone⦠Je dois avouer nâavoir jamais eut une veilleuse en silicone ayant une odeur aussi forte et pourtant, ma conjointe en fait une collection.Le matériel est très épais, beaucoup plus que les veilleuses régulières de ce type. La sensibilité pour changer lâintensité me dérange, car elle est moins ââsensibleââ que les autres, jâimagine dû à lâépaisseur du matériel. Ce que je veux dire par là , câest que vous nâaurez pas simplement à lâeffleurer, vous devrez vraiment ââlâécraserââ pour changer lâintensité. Est-ce un drame ? Non, mais ça en fait tout de même une différence face à ses concurrentes sur le marché.Le design est mignon, je dois lui accorder. Quelques imperfections au niveau du bambou, mais encore une fois, ce nâest pas dramatique. Comme toutes veilleuses en silicone, elle vient avec son fil de recharge, donc il vous faudra uniquement le bloc dâalimentation.Lâintensité des éclairages est assez basse à mon avis, donc si vous êtes à la recherche dâune veilleuse qui nâéclaire pas trop, celle-ci sera sans doute adéquate, mais personnellement, jâaime mieux quand la plus forte intensité éclaire davantage. Vous aurez dâailleurs 3 intensités différentes. Vous aurez aussi une option sous la veilleuse de minuterie de 30 minutes. Il vous suffira de déplacer le bouton vers le 30 et choisir lâintensité désirer avant de la déposer.En conclusion, je dirais quâil y a pire comme veilleuse en silicone, mais aussi mieux. Je ne peux pas dire que je sois insatisfait, car on sâadapte rapidement malgré tout à cette veilleuse, toutefois, elle nâest clairement pas ma favorite parmi notre collection.
Extremely cute night light.
I love this little panda night light. Functionally it is great as it has a built in timer that can shut it off after 30 mins. You can also keep it on until turned off manually.Changing the brightness is super cute. You’d squish its little body. It is a soft silicone rubber and is super soft to squish. It will cycle through the brightness levels and then off and then back to peak brightness. It charges via USB C and seems to last for a really long time. I left it on for several hours and it is still going strong. I suspect with regular use it will require charging once every couple weeksA super cute and soft night light that offered a friendly source of soft light.
Not the best but works fine
I’ve got a silicone tap nigh light before and really loved it, so I decided to try another one. This one is a panda shape, I do find the material on this one is not as soft as the one I’ve had. The responsive tap is not as good either, you’ll have to tap it pretty hard and a few times more to get it working. It’s USB charge and has a timer. It’s good overall, but not the best.
Disappointing
At this point I’m practically a silicone night light connoisseur, having over 15 of these things. Unfortunately this is by far the most disappointing one I have. It says silicone but it feels more like a mildly squishy plastic. It’s definitely neither soft nor easily deformable. The touch sensitivity is absolutely atrocious. Tapping it lightly registers maybe 1/10 hits. Mashing the head in maybe registers 3/10 hits. Squeezing the body with a death grip registers more like 8/10 hits. Honestly it’s just an unpleasant experience overall. On the plus side, at least the switch is nice and operates smoothly, offering a timing option to conserve battery life.

This panda night light is adorable and practical. It has a 30-minute timer or can stay on until turned off manually. The brightness adjusts by squeezing the soft silicone body, cycling through three levels. The light is USB-C rechargeable and lasts several hours on a single charge. It gives off a soft glow, perfect for nighttime use without being too bright. The design is charming.
Cute little guy
I’m not a kid, but I sure like this little panda night light. He’s very cute. It’s a nice little item to have on my bedside table.It’s a simple design, almost like a larger squishy toy. The light is nicely diffused by the translucent skin of the panda. It’s simple to turn him on and off with a single touch.It’s USB-C powered and easy to charge. You can leave it plugged in for infinite charge, or you can unplug it for travel, and it lasts about 10-12 hours on a single charge. I don’t travel with it, personally. I just use it at home.I’m happy with this product.
Bright But Not The Softest
I really like the light and its brightness. Its not too harsh on the eyes in a dark room but still enough to light up the path enough. But, i really thought it was going to be the soft squeezy material i have on my other similar lamp. This one is a little harder plastic and the finishing could take some work as well. Especially on the part where the bamboo is being held.The panda does look really cute though and would make for a nice toy even when not lit up. Coming to the price point, its a difficult guess as these kind of lamps seem to be available for a range, and this one is definitely not the top quality of them all and neither is the price.
This panda light is adorable. Very nice little panda. Charges fairly quickly. Iâve been using silicone lights to decorate a cabinet in the kitchen dining area – pumpkin in the fall and Santa this holiday season. I will use a duck and panda light for spring and summer. Great for decor, party theme, classroom, night light, etc.
We are converting our guest bedroom into a nursery for future grandchild visits and this delightful sitting panda night light does provide some light for the little ones (see notes and caution below â reason for 3-star rating). It has a rechargeable battery â USB recharge cable included. It has a control button on the bottom that allows OFF â ON â 30-minute ON. When using the ON mode, theoretically you can tap, touch or squeeze it to change 3 light levels then off (still in ON switch mode). Theoretically, then a tap, touch or squeeze would turn it back on at a high level. See notes for the failure of this âtapping/touchâ feature. A brief pamphlet is included.The 30-minute for auto-time off switch mode turned the night light on bright then auto-off after 30 minutes. Hard multiple squeezing allowed light level changing (see notes below). A subsequent hard squeeze would turn it on â so the power switch does not have to be reset every evening.Notes:— I suggest considering removing the rubber pads on the bottom (possible choking hazard).— The product advertising states that you can touch or tap the panda to change the light level. No amount of tapping or touching resulted in light level changes. However, with a lot of hard squeezing, I was able to get it to change light level after many, many failed squeezing at various pressure levels â VERY frustrating. Pressing down on the panda head produced better but not acceptable results.Caution: On the back of the pamphlet, in very tiny print, is a warning â I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. (See pic for how small the print is). I am not sure what it means:â10 Making for the restriction of the use of hazardous substances. Envitonmental protection use period 10 yeas:The hazardous material willnot lead to leakage or mutation. Operating the device according to instruction will not bring pollution orbody attach; Arrow roop sign: This product is recyclable.After the environmental protectionuse period,when it does work, it should be dealed with right away,collected by qualified enterprises,rather than discarded at will.â (sic)
– Only warm color temperature – The brightness levels offer good variation, but not ever TOO bright – Difficult to âpat onâ, we mostly just use the on/off switch. Turns out I like that, so kiddo can play with it and it doesnât change light level at every touch or when reading in bed. I got this light for my panda loving nephew and he was delighted to have this in his room! Squishy, adorable and functional light – just charge it up when the battery gets low, very easy to take care of this panda!
I’ve had several of these squish lights and I got this one to replace a ‘napping panda’ one that stopped working after about 10 hours or so of use (not consistent). This one is very disappointing.-First of all, mine doesn’t change light temperatures. I’ve tried manipulating the lamp in all sorts of ways to see if this one needed to be touched in a certain spot/way, but it just doesn’t give me 3 levels of light.-Then, when it’s lit up, the finish of the coloring (especially at seams/bends/where colors meet) is splotchy and even looks bare in some spots, like the “paint” was scratched off.-And the plastic is harder than the silicone squish lamps that I’ve had, and that I thought this was. It’s not. It doesn’t have the “grippy” feel silicone gives you, this feels like a rubber ducky (smooth/shiny).I purchased this lamp through Vine for a discount, so I’m unable to return it, otherwise I absolutely would. Also, this is about the same price that others go for (actually this is a few bucks more) and it’s not at all worth it.$15.98 when purchased (12/20/24)
