Functional for being Budget-Friendly
We bought two of these. One for the full price, and then the other for 1/3 of the full price because we ended up needing to replace an old one and it just worked out to be great timing.When you come into the front door of our house, we do not have much of an entrance way as we have a mudroom at the side of the house in the back and an area where people would take off shoes and such, so the front door is often just to check the mail and have the odd guest come through. The stairs are straight ahead, and then we have the living room on one side and the dining room on the other. We didn’t want a gate that would ruin the stairwell wallpaper so we opted to have a gate on either side so that it would block our child two ways instead of one. These were fairly easy to install although we had to adjust the holders on the side a couple of times because it started to mess with being able to latch the gate but after three times we seemed to have got it. They are sturdy enough with the no hardware option and she definitely wouldn’t be able to push them over or out of their place. At 17 months old though, she is all eyes for everything mommy and daddy are doing so she almost has it figured out how to open these -it’s the sliding motion though that she just can’t quite get because she needs bigger hands but she’ll be able to open these two no problem later on. We love the fact that we could easily take them off the doorjams in which we have them right now, and take them with us if we are traveling knowing that they’ll fit almost anywhere we need it to and the gate itself will cause zero harm, so it’s multi-functional. We are thinking about getting a third and maybe even a forth for upstairs as we have a couple rooms that the doors do not shut all the way and she’s not yet allowed in so we’ll look into that soon. I’m pretty sure anyone buying four of something like this means that it’s damn good. The only thing is that we think it’s priced extremely high and think low forties would be more than enough to charge at regular price rather than bouncing all over the place with sales. Also, shipping was quick and efficient which is amazing since we live in rural Ontario and don’t often get our mail that quickly!If you’re considering buying this, just give yourself relief from the headache you’d cause yourself and get the gate! It’ll be worth it and you’ll be grateful that you were able to keep your toddler or animal safe!

Decent, low-priced gate
We ordered this gate to block off a hallway to keep our 19 month old daughter and 85lb dog from getting into the bedrooms during the day.We were looking for something relatively inexpensive for a gate, as it’s not a huge deal if the dog happens to knock it down (hasn’t happened yet though).Pros:+ Pretty cheap for a gate that can span a decent sized hallway.+ Installation was easy. I used drywall anchors to screw the top pressure-mounted pad holders in, and simply screwed the bottom ones into the wooden baseboard. They seem to be holding to the wall pretty well.+ One handed operation is also easy. You can definitely open this gate while carrying a baby or load of laundry, etc.+ It’s been holding up to moderate abuse from both the toddler and Rottweiler.+ The tension holding it to the wall is pretty good while still being able to open the gate.Cons:- Feels a little flimsy compared to another brand of gate (that we paid twice as much for)- The gate itself doesn’t have a built in stopper. If you have this in a hallway, the only things stopping the gate when it’s open is going to be your drywall. I mounted a couple dollar-store felt floor protectors on the wall where the gate would hit the drywall, and that seems to be doing the trick.Neutral:~ The height. It’s definitely not a tall gate, so if you have a climber this might not work for you. On the other hand, it’s easy enough for an adult to step over if both hands are full and you don’t want to open it.At the end of the day, this is a decent gate for relatively cheap. I wouldn’t use it at the top of the stairs or blocking the door to you priceless art collection room. If you’re just blocking a toddler or dog from getting somewhere that they can’t get into too much trouble, this is what you’re looking for.

Take the time to measure in advance
We guessed the door width when deciding not to use the extension. Wasted so much time! But now it’s together, with the extension. It’s tight but was too loose without. Gotta love old houses. Seems decent quality, looks nice, decent height for both dogs and little people, and will secure our living room carpet from a peeing puppy. Ordered a second one to limit access to other parts of the house without doors.

Llegó antes de la fecha estimada muy bien empacado. Cuenta con instrucciones para facilitar su armado, no tuve problema para instalarla.Es de buena calidad los barrotes de metal y algunas partes de plástico duro como la manija de cierre y las piezas para ajustarlo.Yo la compré para limitar el paso de mis perritas a ciertas zonas de la casa, al tener puerta te permite el acceso fácil sin necesidad de estar quitándola. Se quita fácilmente lo que permite instalarla en diferente lugar.Anteriormente he comprado dos puertas muy similares pero de otra marca, debo mencionar que esta costó la mitad de precio y tiene la misma funcionalidad.Como comentario hay que fijarse hacia donde quieres que abra la puerta antes de colocarla porque solamente lo hace para un solo lado.La recomiendo ampliamente

Buen producto, en lo particular lo uso para dividir el espacio a dónde no quiero que pasen mis mascotas, fue un poco difícil la instalación al inicio pero leyendo el instructivo se facilita mucho, me ha resultado muy práctico y cómodo, lo recomiendo ampliamente.
