Great Results, but a Bit Pricey
The Rice Water Shampoo and Conditioner is seriously impressive! My hair feels thicker, stronger, and way healthier after just a few uses. Itâs packed with all the good stuff like biotin, caffeine, and rosemary oil, and the hyaluronic acid leaves my hair feeling super hydrated.That said, itâs definitely on the pricier side for a daily shampoo and conditioner. While the results are great, it makes me wonder if there are more budget-friendly options with similar benefits. Amazing product, but the cost might be a dealbreaker for some.
So far so good
I haven’t been using this product for a long time, but Im really liking it so far.I have oily scalp, dry roots, thin straight hair and I color dye every 45-60 days. I have been struggling to find a product that works for my oily roots without drying too much my ends or washing away my color (not easy at all). I have also been struggling with some hair loss recently and read about the benefits of rice water products. I tried a bar shampoo and didn’t like it, so I decided to try this one out.I had to start the conditioner first, since I ran out of the previous one. It’s not heavy on the hair, does not leave it oily, leaves it soft and helps some with untangling.The shampoo lathers quite well (Which I love) and leaves my hair soft and with a very clean feeling, without completely stripping it from its natural oil.I usually have to wash my hair everyday or every other day, this has not changed with the shampoo or the conditioner.I enjoy the smell, but I understand some people do not like fragrance.I will update my review in case anything changes but I think Im gonna stick with this set.
Must Try
I’ve been trying many products to try and grow my hair and have not liked any of them. This product is lovely. It leaves my hair feeling soft but is not heavy. I love the smell and how easy the products are to use. I have purchased this product for the second time now, as it’s perfect for my thin, coarse and tangly hair. If you are looking for a product to try, I recommend this one. And I do have new growth.
Feels good but conditioner smell is too strong
I like this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo lathers fairly well – I use 1 1/2 pumps for my medium long, very thin hair, focusing on the roots. The conditioner is nice too, but I don’t love that they add chemical “fragrance” to it and it smells like men’s cologne. I would prefer something natural, like citrus essential oil or something. I use these 2-3 times a week and they give my hair body, and I think I am seeing more regrowth than normal, but time will tell – my ends are still thin.
Hair Soft & Full
Delivery was fast, as usual with Amazon. Iâve only used the product once, but my first experience was great. It leaves my hair soft and full of volume. Typically, with my other shampoo, I lose volume after two days, but my hair still feels nice even after three days. I also noticed I’m shedding less hair on the bathroom floor. Though Iâve only used it once, so my review might be a bit premature. Iâll update it after using it for a while longer.
First time buying this shampoo!
The product came very well packaged, all sealed and delivered quickly which I am very happy about, BUT, the conditionerâs pump does not work! I tried so many ways but itâs not working and I am disappointed. I didnât expect that, so I will have to figure something outâ¦and thatâs why I am giving it a 3 star.I tried to pour out the conditioner in a different bottle and the product doesn’t budge and if I try to switch the shampoo pump to the conditioner the shampoo will get mixed with the conditioner so its all just messy!!!!!I am looking for a shampoo that will work for my hair so I will update my review after 3 months. I really hope this shampoo work for me. It smells nice but we will see because I have been going through quite a few shampoos and none of them work for me.*Update*Recently went for the second bottle. I like how clean my hair feels after, soft and manageable. It does help with hair growth! I hope they will get to sell the shampoo only because I don’t use the conditioner as much as it’s not required at every single wash. 2 times a month is enough.
Noticing a difference!
I was a little sceptical at first but I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for about 2 months now and Iâm noticing some thickness and less breakage/hair loss. Iâve also been taking biotin supplements so it may be a combination of the two but overall satisfied with the shampoo/conditioner. Plus it smells minty which is nice. Would recommend!

This shampoo is the best Iâve ever used and Iâve tried many types expensive and not. It makes my hair soft but not oily and does not cause breakage. It makes my hair look like I blow dried it because it will bring out the waves in my hair without drying it out and will smooth it out without weighing it down. If you use it for months on end it sometimes will build up but I just wash once a week or once a month with native shampoo and conditioner and resets it.
wonderful smells from both shampoo and conditioner.. i think they smell different. my hair and scalp feels very clean and soft after a shampoo. for reference i have 3b hair and i wash it once a week, i oil my scalp 2x a week, near daily leave in conditoner, and once a week a put a light moisturizing gel in my hair and i feel the shampoo cleanses all that prouduct well ( i also shampoo my scalp twice on my wash days).after conditioning my hair feels moisturized but i also do a hair mask when i have it available.i find this duo to be pricey for the amount you get. but i did have a good experience with this product.i would say it did make my hair look and feel normal/ healthy.. what i mean is i had thinning hair after having my baby and this duo got me back to MY hair thickness. i dont think it would thicken your hair if you naturally have thin hair… but im just sharring my experience. i will keep it in my hair routine rotaion as long as its avilable. ( i like to switch my products)
(I had an allergic reaction to Olaplex products. I blamed it on the hair coloring product my stylist switched me to, so I kept using the Olaplex. My scalp itched horribly, so I don’t know if my overall hair-thinning was because of the product or the fact that I kept rubbing/scratching/brushing.)I don’t know if this will work–and I’m praying it doesn’t make things worse! But wanted to share my initial reaction to the product scent and results. The shampoo has a minty smell that I thought I would hate, but it didn’t linger after shampooing. (Yay!) It didn’t lather much and, since I assume it has to reach the scalp in order to do its magic, I had to use 2 or 3 pumps to feel like I was getting complete coverage of my shoulder-length hair. That’s a lot of product!The conditioner did not smell minty. Maybe a little like rosemary. The scent didn’t linger either, which I consider to be a good thing.After washing and conditioning, and blow-drying only my bangs, my hair was soft and smooth. (I was afraid that anything that supposedly thickens hair would make my hair frizzy.) Went for a drive in a convertible. When I got home, I brushed my hair and it was immediately smooth and soft again.Only time will tell if this actually fixes my problem. I’ll update this review.
