Great gift for a grandson in Engineering
Not as complex as I thought
Whilst I appreciate the design, use of color etc, I was a little disappointed the only function the clock motor achieves is the time. I has hoped the day and date display would also be mechanically powered, but this is not the case as they have to be manually set, albeit with some interesting gearing. Ideal for the novice builder as the pieces are large and easy to assemble.
Beautiful, quartz clock didnt work
Bought this as a birthday gift for my husband, absolutely loved it and spent 7 hours putting it together. It could probably have been done in less time but he was being very precise with it all.My only issue with it is that the actual clock didn’t work, the hour and minute hands would move for about 15 minutes and then stop. We eventually took out the quartz clock thingy from a previous wall clock, swapped the clock hands and used that inside this clock. Now it works perfectly and is hanging on the wall.
So excited to use but my red pieces were backwards
Will update after I return and reorder. I got this for the family for Christmas and when we got to step two realized that the Red piece only fit backwards. Hope to get another to replace and try again

I loved putting this together. The pieces fit together quite nicely, the directions were pretty clear and the pieces themselves were sturdy. The end product was absolutely gorgeous. I get so many compliments on how pretty this looks on my wall!
I enjoyed putting this together. It looks great on the wall. I’m a hopeless romantic so instead of messing with the date every day I set it to my girl and my anniversary date.
The clock went together as well as any other such project I have built and the result so far is beautiful. I made a couple of mistakes and had to disassemble parts of the clock twice. The glue provided with the kit is stiff and takes a strong hand to get it going but is otherwise strong and easy to use. I look forward to hanging the completed clock in a prominent place in my living room.
