Beautiful
Some parts were very difficult. Trying to get everything to function correctly and cohesively was a challenge. Still not right even after Googling a âHow toâ video. Will be taking it a part for the 4th time this weekend.

Itâs a fun activity. Just wish the gears worked better but for $35 Canadian itâs a cute little music box with a secret compartment! Also you can paint it if you like, I did
Music box doesn’t turn
Everything fits in place, but the pieces that are supposed to turn after winding up the music box, don’t turn, even after waxing. It seems that the gears get stuck in place, but I don’t know if it’s that or I assembled it incorrectly.Other than that, it’s a beautiful object.
Get another model. This one sucks
Almost impossible to get all the gears moving automatically and when i try to open the box, the whole top gets unscrewed. I’ve bought other ones from rokr and by far this is the worst.

I love this! I enjoyed the challenge of assembling this music box. Took me 3hrs because the gears were not lining up properly and had to wax it thoroughly. Great gift for older kids or someone who likes to tinker.
It will not do what is is supposed to do…..
This box has windows where wheels are supposed to spin as the music plays. They cause too much friction for that to happen. My wife is very careful how she assembles these puzzles, it just would not work. Finally she disengaged all but one and was able to make it work. Poorly engineered, it will not work fully assembled. The ‘music’ is also short and repetitive.
Impossible
I bought 3 other set for the same company I had difficulty with one other but th other one was with the music box not the assembly this one is literally impossible some piece are to big to fit in other. Some are to small and they are so easy to break. Iâm super careful yet I still break some. Some of the mane piece donât fit correctly and I just had to hot glue everything but even with hot glue itâs doesnât stay in place it keep sliding out of place. Iâm not quite done cuz I rage quit and itâs was really late but Iâll update with pictures and final result when Iâm done

ROKR is a very reputable manufacturer of these types of kits. It comes with picture instructions but no words, since it is sold around the world. You will need some mechanical aptitude to understand the diagrams, but some help from an adult will help you. The ORDER of assembly is very important. If you miss a step, you will be taking it back apart. Every thing fits together perfectly, which is amazing. No glue needed. Be careful taking the parts out of the sheets, since some are quite thin and fragile.Pay attention to where you are to sand or wax. These are not that well explained in the pictures.We did have some problems with getting all the parts to rotate with the music box. Don’t give up. Just keep adjusting. This is probably the only real troublesome part.Overall, we love it

My granddaughter is 14 and loves to assemble things. She said this took her 6 hours and that it was so much fun!! Plus she has a unique jewelry box which plays a pretty melody. Definitely a great gift for someone with the tenacity to stick with a semi-difficult project.
Overall it is a very good product. Very nice and easy to build. Too easy for 14 years old kid though.However, The music was way too fast. One of the gears was bended during shipping. Therefore, not all gears are able to move fluently and music stopped every now and then.
This is the 2nd music box we have purchased from ROKR, enjoyable to listen to and put together is fun.It has the potential to be a beautiful product but once fully assembled it does not run smoothly, it needs manual assistance to play therefore it doesn’t run without someone continually rotating the music knob.But it is nice to look at.
