It has a washed look which you canât really notice in the pictures but it looks even better in real life.

Cute but with an “aged” look
I don’t think the aged look was intentional. When new, the carpet looks old and for some people, it will look “ready to be replaced”. So pay careful attention to the pictures I uploaded of what it looked like when I got it.The pictures on the carpet are cute. They might not be accurate in terms of orbit or size, but at least the planet names are there and associated with planets.The alphabet going around like a clock is a bit odd, but that’s fine. Brand recognition works, and you defnitely want your children recognizing letters as easily as brand logos.The carpet is soft, and obviously round. It’s also thick.Inspector kitty came to do a quali-kitty assessment of the carpet. It looks like Uranus is also involved in a different inspection at the same time, checking him the kitty out. Quite humerous. Yes. Drole indeed.The price is a bit steep, but it’s a quality rug (even if poorly dyed). The designs on it could help the development of the youngest of children which is a nice bonus.
Great for kids room or play area
This carpet is a vibrant and good looking fitting into any space for kids. The carpet is madenout of synthetics so is able to be easily washed and has fairly good resistance to staining and damage compared to other materials.The carpet is better quality then I had expected and is soft with high 0.4″ pile and bound stitching on the edges. The design is playful and educational and can be used to entertain and educate while providing warm colourful comfort to the area.The product has a rubber backing so it stays in pace and is not a slipping hazzard on tile or other flat surfaces.Washing is easy and can be done on the gentle cold cycle and left to air dry.Great product and I am impressed with the quality, looks and soft feeling. Great item for decorating anywheres that kids spend time.
Nice Rug
The carpet is a lovely bright blue color and goes well with the other blues in my son’s room.My son loves space and the alphabet and we make up games using the carpet.A minus would be that the carpet isn’t as soft as others we’ve had in his room, however, the kid hasn’t complained of any rugburns as yet so I guess so far so good.

Great addition to a playroom or classroom.
The images on the mat are cute and add to the whimsy of the mat. It shows all the planets and their names – Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and the dwarf planet Pluto. They are not placed correctly in terms of orbit. It measures approximately 4 feet in diameter.The alphabet around the perimeter. The letters are clear and legible.The mat does have a distressed look to it. I need to place a heavy object on mine to remove the crease from packing.The mat is extremely soft on the top. It has a blanket feel to it. It has a non-slip backing and a nice edge to it. It is lightweight enough to move it when I want to and to also put in the washing machine.This mat would be a great addition to a playroom or classroom.

Beau tapis de chambre vraiment doux. Il y a toutes les lettres de l’alphabet et les 9 planètes de notre système solaire, mais en anglais seulement. Une version devrait être disponible aussi. Présenté de façon amusante pour les enfants. Il y a un antidérapant sous le tapis pour ne pas qu’il glisse sur le plancher. Belle grandeur pour une chambre. J’adore! Et mon fils aussi.
