Good for purposes other than just as a child lock!
Easy to install, works well. I bought this after finding my teenage son didn’t close the fridge properly after a late night forage. He jumbled containers around, gave the door a push shut forcing the containers back, and the fridge door popped open afterwards when the containers fell forward again. With this child lock his push shuts the fridge door and it stays nicely shut. My food stays cold and safe inside a closed fridge! The food is still not safe from my son devouring it in a midnight frenzy though :)…
Does the job
Great product. Our 2 years old figured how to use it so itâs not as useful as Iâd like but at least it keeps the doors close. Our fridge is on an angle which usually donât allow the doors to close so itâs great for that. Our kids pull on the doors on a daily and the glue is still holding on. Iâd buy it again.

Safety latch
One of the better safety latches out there that I have seen and used. Only thing that would make it better is the adhesive. I had tonuse double sided gorilla tape for extra strength, otherwise it was peeling off.

Great way to seal fridge door
I’m using these to keep the refrigerator door sealed as the rubber isn’t adhering as well as before, creating the cool air to leak and frost buildup. It’s great! Also helps to avoid my child from opening the refrigerator.The lock is easy to install and use. The adhesive tape supplied seems to be working well.Shipping was fast.

We have a fridge in the garage that we keep all the kids drinks and juice boxes in. The kids have a habit of slamming the fridge door, which will often cause the freezer door above it to pop open.The amount of popsicles, ice cream, and at one point even breast milk, that has been thrown out and wasted by the freezer door being unintentionally left open is sickening.After trying all the tips and tricks to keep the door from popping open, I decided to try this as a last resort and IT WORKED PERFECTLY.It’s easy to operate that even my 4 can old can do it (once we taught him how).

I love these fridge and freezer locks. They’re super easy to use, stick really well to our stainless steels refrigerator and as much as my son would struggle to figure it out, the design of them makes it easy for us adults to open the fridge/freezer door with one hand. Only issue I could see is if your fridge has rounded corners. Ours is squared off so it works quite well.
Great lock, does it job. Bought it for my mini freezer to prevent it from accidental opening.Only reason for 4 stars is lack of color options, wish they had it in black too.
