Installation was super easy. No screws, no damage to cupboards, and best of all invisible. I recommend watching the video online to save time reading the instructions.I have a rowdy 15 month old who has given up trying to get into all of our kitchen cupboards. This is a must for those of you who have open living spaces which makes it difficult to keep busy toddlers out of everything. The magnet is powerful enough to go through a thick cupboard door. I love that you can unlock them too for when you need faster and repeated access into cupboards or drawers. Also, no more fingers or arms getting caught in drawers! Worth the money!
Impressed
Reading non stops reviews for this type of item like many other things became too much. After looking at a ton of highly reviewed magnetic locks I finally decided on paying more money for the Safety 1st ones. Now I’ll never know if the less expensive ones were just as good or not but I have no regrets to far. The product looks and feels quality, magnet is really strong, and more importantly the install was a breeze and there’s zero chance that you will screw up and not have it lined up. The only person who hates it so far is my baby, she’s confused and frustrated why she can’t open the cabinets anymore. I’m a horrible dad finding pure enjoyment watching her suffer!
Does the job well for a decent price
Just baby proofed my condo. These work great. Easy to install and use. Keeps my little one out of cabinets. They are worth the money because you don’t even see them, so it doesn’t ruin the aesthetic of the home but still provides safety.

Works amazing stopped my little one fromOpening everything! Easy and strong! And doesnt open at all ( some locks open slightly and can cause fingers to be caught) this one doesnt! Fully secure!
Best cabinet safety locks on the market
I absolutely adore these! No more pinched fingers!! These keep the doors fully shut so your little ones fingers can’t slip between and get caught! They are a bit of a process to install, but the instructions are very thorough and once you have them installed they are very user friendly. Also you have the option of using screws or adhesive so if you don’t want them installed permanently, they are simple to remove! Best cabinet safety locks on the market by far!

Running after magnets
If you have a big kitchen with a lit of drawers, do not buy this. It only comes with 2 magnets which are easily misplaced! Very frustrating trying to fins the magnets to open drawers. Go get something else!
The product itself is very well made, the magnet is nice and strong, and the rounded edges are a bonus in safety for when my daughter gets a hold of any of these things. The magnet is a little finicky, and does lock by itself once in a while, and the design of the lock and its adhesive strip don’t sit totally flush on the inside of our cabinet frames–but that’s an issue with our cabinets, not with the product. The provided installation jig is super handy and clever, making the install very easy. So far, the locks are holding, and the magnet is responding well. If my daughter gets too strong for the adhesive, there’s also the option of fastening each lock with screws. We haven’t gotten there yet!

I have bought many cabinet locks to keep our three curious kids out of trouble and these are materially better than the cheaper alternatives.1. The installation is much easier with clear instructions and user friendly plastic guides that align the two halves (otherwise a real pain).2. The tape hold is much stronger even though other options also (claim to) use 3M adhesive. The other options popped off months into use while these have held up for years.3. Overall quality is better, the unlock key is easy to use and the little grip wonât snap off like thinner options, the magnets engage consistently, and the disengage option works better.Donât waste your money on the slightly cheaper but much worse alternatives. These are legit.
Muy prácticos y fáciles de poner. Además me gustó que no hay que perforar necesariamente. Lo único que no consideramos y que es importante es que para instalarlas, tu cajón o puerta debe tener una ” pestaña” de madera al lado. Por ejemplo, mis cajones topan con los otros cajones, entonces ahà no se puede colocar, tiene que ser en un lugar fijo. Subo la foto para que se entienda mejor.Pero en las puertas sà pudimos ponerlos y son una maravilla.
One of my favorite features of this product is the ability to unlock the device untilI need to lock my cabinets when the grandkids come over. Most childproof locks arealways engaged. This lock gives me the freedom to keep the cabinets unlocked untilabsolutely necessary. Very easy to install ! Genius product !
