Wrong readings always – terrible product
I bought it because I have a baby and a toddler. It always read 36.7-36.8 , no matter what my child’s temperature is. For example, yesterday and today we were called from daycare because my 2 year old has a fever of 38.7 & 38.5 . We measured her temperature as soon as we picked her up it was 36.8 , we told off the daycare provider. Today , the provider showed us the temp using two different thermometers and they confirmed that she has a fever while this thermometer again read 36.7 (their measurements and ours were done at the same time). I can definitely not depend on this to check my babies well-being. What frustrates me is that it’s not cheap .

I bought this because my Doctor recommended getting an ear thermometer. I knew how to use this and read the instructions. However, I still wasn’t sure if the reading was correct. Anyway, I still have it and will use it again. I like that it comes with a cap for the tip of the thermometer.

Absolutely awful product.Difficult to use (unless youâre a Philadelphia lawyer) as you are required to push a button to activate it and then push and hold it again to use it and then place it in your ear (which you have to pull open for correct insertion and then wait 3-5 seconds to hear a beep after you can read it. The beep is almost inaudible even in a completely quiet room. If you miss the beep, you have to do it all over again. Then the illumination feature is a real joke and you will need a flash light to read it.Wildly inaccurate too. One reading told me I was close to suffering fever convulsions and 10 seconds later told me I was 4 degrees under normal.Used it on my child and was told it was 34.9. Then an hour later as his condition worsened too him to emergency and was told he has a serious fever and should have brought him in earlier.Sad that such garbage is sold on Amazon.Tossed this piece of garbage in the garage. An unfortunate $40 lesson.
