Description
The Grip ‘N Go Lock easily locks around cabinet knobs or handles. Our sturdy lock will not scratch or mark cabinets while providing a deterrent to children by not allowing them to open the door. Keeping stuff safe for 5 years!
We have been using this for 5 years. Still works. No cracks or broken pieces. Very durable. Still secure after 5 years of daily use. Keeps the kids out and them safe!

Good lock but there is a better one…
Since we expect to be using these for a while with a 2 yr old or we’ve nicknamed the “Destroyer”, we bought this lock, the Safety 1st OutSmart Flex Lock and the Safety 1st Push ‘n Snap Cabinet Lock. This one is pretty good but the the OutSmart Flex Lock is better.It can be used one handed if you pay attention. The lock is a good balance between difficult and easy, good resistance. I think it will be harder to defeat than the OutSmart lock and much less likely to break. Two key downsides though. When you remove the lock you have to put it somewhere which is slightly annoying. And it only fits knobs that are spaced very precisely from each other. However the main reason we bought 8 of the OutSmart locks is that they are easier to use. All of our doors had the handles spaced at the right distance for the Grip ‘N Go so we could have bought either. We plan to keep using these however will toss the Safety 1st Push ‘n Snap Cabinet Lock in the bin. Way to difficult to use…buy it only if you want to keep teenagers and adults out of a cabinet.

These cabinet locks are a great product for a great price! Compared to other baby proofing equipment these look great, are easily removed by adults and will not mark up your cabinets after you’re done using them. In addition, I like the fact that they are small enough that if you are travelling it would be easy to bring them with you and have them to protect your little one in a hotel as well!
Great and lasting product.
We’ve used these for all four kids, the only reason we had to rebuy was because we gave all the original stuff away after the third grew up. It’s easy for the oldest to undo and yet keeps everyone under 5 safely out. Sometimes even the adults have an issue getting it open until it’s explained.They expand a really good amount so it will be great for all sizes of handles/cabinets.
Easy to use!
This is a great cabinet lock, and is really easy to use & for a great price. The only reason why Iâm giving it a 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find that they break easily. Iâve bought this same one twice before at different retailers, and over time theyâve broken (expanded and never returned to the original size). This is the third time that I buy this product in 2 years.
Works well to stop our baby from trying to open our cleaning products cupboard in the kitchen.
I thought these would be a lot trickier, but once my husband and I tried them a few times and got the hang of it, we could take them off and put them on without thinking. The picture doesn’t show it but one of the rounded edges has a piece of retractable light grey plastic on the inside of the curve that when pushed in (like against the cabinet knob), will NOT allow this to be unlocked, even when you’re pushing in the little button on the bottom. I’m guessing some people weren’t able to slide it open quite as easily because they were inadvertently pushing in that piece of plastic. I found that by pulling the lock a little so that the plastic wasn’t being pressed in by the knob, it would unlock easily.We got these since our cats were always trying to get into the trash and make little messes, but we didn’t want to have to install anything on the cabinet doors to prevent this. Within minutes after putting these on, we could hear our cats kind of pulling at the cabinets, but they weren’t able to slide more then a little paw in the door. Problem 100% solved. Would recommend.
Didn’t fit my kitchen cabinets. Not wide enough at the opening. It did work on my pantry, and it does seem of good quality. Just surprised it isn’t wide enough for standard cabinet doors. It’s off by 1/16″.
Good luck with these. They are a small battle to get open. Our went straight into the recycling bin after a day’s worth of frustratingly waging that battle several times.I suppose they hit their mark in keeping cabinet contents safe from your kiddos, so one star for that.
Has a very limited range and it doesn’t work correctly on any of my cabinets. It seems well made and they do note a 4.75″ max width but they should have noted the minimum which seems to be just over 3″. My cabinet handles are only 2.75″ outside edge to outside edge and these are loose on the handles when fully tightened.
