The adhesive is incredibly weak. Additionally it says not for use on stove despite being an appliance lock. Plastic is flimsy. Do not recommend.
Great for the price!
The little lock buckle can easily break if the child can slightly open the door itâs on. Almost has to be super tight to stop that but otherwise I love this product. And have it on vanities and cupboards and my basement and main bathroom door.
Does the trick
Baby was constantly stealing pops from the bar fridge and throwing full cans into the recycle bins. This contraption was quick and easy to install and feels thick and sturdy. Has been closed in the door a few times (lazy tweens!) but its held up well. Haha baby!
Mediocre
I bought this item to keep my oven drawer closed. I followed all of the proper instructions for installation including cleaning the surfaces and letting them dry completely. Unfortunately the tape part does not stick well and my child is was able to open the door with ease. I used the second clip and re did the process again. It worked much better. I think the first sticker part may have been faulty. When attached properly the safety clip is easy to open up to access oven drawer.
works really well on fridge doors
This clasp is difficult for kids to figure out. It keeps my kids out of the fridge and also keeps my freezer door closed which does not have a good door seal. Very happy. Thank you.
Best multipurpose safety lock
I love this safety lock!! It blends in with my black oven door and is easy to use with one hand. I used the second lock on the top of my patio door since my first idler has learned how to open the door handle lock!!! It holds really great with one side on wood and the other aluminum.
This is the second safety lock of this kind that we purchased. The first was used when my son was a baby and it worked perfectly. It is easy to attach To the refrigerator. It was very easy to keep clean as well as being very durable, considering how often you get in and out of your fridge. We purchased this for an old refrigerator that pops open easily. We specifically searched for this specific safety lock because of how much we liked the first. It is very easy to remove when you no longer need it and does not affect your appliance.

Update 2020: my babies are grown enough that i could do without, but i donât want to. 4-under-4 and only replaced twice in 4years, mostly bc the rough yanking of stubborn children eventually breaks the plastic tab. Purchasing again bc my fridge is old and these things stand up so well that I intend to replace them super-snug to improve the seal on my freezer.Bought this to guard the fridge from my toddler. Works great! Easy to attach. Have had on for a month now and it shows no signs of giving up, but if it does i have the second one in the package as back-up. The plastic band takes the strain of tugging well, and gives just enough to prevent too much strain on the adhesive places. I have a black plastic fridge with a rounded corner so this suits better than the other choices. Only con-not-really-a-con is that it doesn’t self-latch, so it’s only as good as my remembering to re-close it. It is simple enough for my 4 and 5 year olds to open by themselves too, so that’s a pro and con both.
