Baby gate closure
I used this gate for my dogs so they donât run down the stairs every time someone comes or to keep them out of my bedroom works perfectly. I I have Too small dogs and it works perfectly. Iâm not sure if I would recommend it on top of the stairway. If you have a baby it would be all right for a bedroom door or just to keep the dog out of her room. Do not use it on the stairway.
Good buy
Great gate, good price. Not as sturdy as a hardware one, I can see older toddlers maaaybe being able to push it down.. but don’t use at the top of stairs and it will serve its purpose without having to bolt into walls.I specifically looked for the safety 1st pressure mount gate because it was the same I had for my older two kids 10 years ago and never had a problem. Used in a doorway then and am using in a wider hallway now (40 inches) and it holds strong. Just need to undo and wiggle outwards a little more if you are finding it’s not holding firm! :)Only thing I don’t like is the size of the holes.. pretty sure my 1 year old will be getting his feet in there eventually and trying to climb it as he does like to climb up everything else!

Literally zero installation or assembly. Opened box, set up on wall. Holds my bulldog back without having marking my walls.So good I bought a second one for the other wall.
Mediocre by definition
I bought 1 gate to prevent my dog from getting in to things while Iâm out of the house. My dog is a decently big dog so this gate being sturdy was a nice plus and definitely improved my confidence in its ability to do what I purchased it for. That being said, the locking mechanism isnât super easy and it feels almost like Iâm gonna break the plastic while locking and unlocking the gate (could be a plus for kids getting out I guess). I also ordered a second gate to place elsewhere but the second gate was and still is missing hardware to install it, and Iâm hoping the company is nice enough to replace or refund me for the mishap.The gate is okay, itâs not amazing, itâs not terrible, just okay. If you could get it on sale though itâs definitely more worth it.
Cheap and breakable
Had this gate for just over a month. The mechanism that locks the gate and holds the pressure snapped with normal use after maybe 10 times of being placed in doorway. Now it’s past the return window and I’m stuck with this piece of junk. While it is budget friendly, the plastic is brittle and breakable. Don’t waste your money, find another option.

Works well..good fit..sturdy..purchased for pets ..cut out an area glfor cat to walk thru and dogs unable to access her food ..lol

Me encantó, funciona perfecto, los materiales son de buena calidad y es muy fácil instalarlo. El seguro funciona muy bien para que los bebés no lo puedan abrir, la altura es ideal y las medidas son de 71 a 101 cm como describe el producto. Hay que asegurarse de instalar los topes que vienen en la bolsa a la puerta o pared para que quede bien estable pero fue muy fácil hacerlo. Es un producto bueno y duradero, lo recomiendo mucho
I bought this to block my bedroom from a new puppy and give the cats an escape. This is durable and extremely easy to install. I installed it in my outer jamb and I am still able to close my bedroom door without removing it. I like the heavy duty plastic. It doesn’t mar the jamb and it’s easy to clean. Also the height is perfect. Tall enough to keep the puppy out (she is 4 months old and a large breed) but not too tall for the cats or myself to jump/step over.

Not sure if it was slightly bent during transit or if its a design fault but since the time we have had it hasn’t opened and closed smoothly. Need to press down the center part on both sides to be able to slide open and close. Once its in position its ok, but if you need to open and close regularly it would be an absolute pain.
