Please follow the steps below to protect your kids
1.Clean and dry cabinets surface before attaching latch and catch
2.Make the latch near the edge of the cabinet door, and engages it with catch or crossbeam. (The child locks perfectly fit cabinet weather it has crossbeam or not)
3.Tear off the adhesive paper on the back of child locks
4.Mark the desired place meant with a pencil
5.Peel the tape off the catch and stick it to the marked spots. Hold on for 15 seconds
6.Unused for 8 hours to allow fully attachment

The sticky kept popping off so I had to screw them in. I think it might have been the fake wood we tried to get them to stick to because I put them on another drawer with real wood and they stayed. 4 stars because Iâm just not sure?
Satisfactory
These are ok. They do the job they were designed to do. We have had a few break and have had to replace them. Also the adhesive on the back isn’t strong enough so plan to use the screws provided to secure the latches effectively.

Peeling the backing is a nightmare
Terribly designed adhesive. Canât peel off the backing without ripping half of the adhesive off. Waste of money.

Talk about the easygoing installation, WOW. I would buy these again and again. Which I already did. A great deterrent for my 1.5 year old. And he is a strong boy. I was worried he might be able to rip them off but not so far. Hint if you need to remove them heat them up on the sucky part with a hair dryer for (-10 minutes and then pull them off
