I recently bought the U Sense Baby Monitor, and it’s been fantastic. The setup was easy, and it’s highly customizable to fit our needs. It provides alerts for high temperature, rollover, and no breath, giving us peace of mind.The features are incredibly useful, especially the temperature monitoring and rollover alerts. Overall, the U Sense Baby Monitor is a reliable and high-quality device.

Easy to use. Peace of mind for a new parent with severe anxiety. I couldn’t sleep for the first week when my baby was asleep because I was terrified he would stop breathing (he had started choking on unsuctioned mucous his first night in hospital, so I would say I was a tad traumatized on top of pre-existing anxiety).We use the Sense-U and the Owlet. While the Owlet is 4x the cost, this device is affordable and quick to place on a squirmy or sleeping baby. No irritation to skin, compared to the Owlet sock which can leave red marks if it rubs his ankles too much.Downsides are that the range is quite short, so if he is in his bassinet upstairs,- it loses connection when I go downstairs. And while the ambient temperature is a good general idea if he is too warm, I wish it was able to do body temperature instead, as ambient temperature is hard to gauge what is comfortable when he is swaddled up.Edit: downside is sometimes it unpairs from Bluetooth randomly even when in range.Upside: the app has a notification window viewable on my phone so I don’t have to open the app to see real-time breathing rate, Temp and position, I just pull down my notification panel.Overall I’d recommend this for parents with anxiety over their sleeping babies. It’s not perfect nor can it guarantee to prevent SIDS but it definitely made me feel more in control after a week of minimal sleep and traumatic hospital stay.Update: After not even 2 months of use (and not even used everyday) the clip has snapped off. Luckily they include a second clip but disappointed how quickly it broke.
Donât waste money!!! Very disappointed!!
I bought and return this 3 times in total. We bought just the device at first. But since my daughter has her own room, so it doesnât detect because it too far when her room is just next door. So we return it and got the base station together the second time. It can detect with no problem, but When we try it on our baby, we found that it is defective, cuz when my baby is on her back but the device show that she is on her tummy. So we have to return and get a new one sent again. We have used it for a month and it will only cause more panic then we didnât put it on, it panic us over 10 times one night. The device is place on the baby tummy, and sense the movement of the baby stomach to see if the baby is breathing, so when the baby is on their tummy, the movement will reduce but it doesnât mean the baby is not breathing. It will still alarm as breathing less than 5/minutes. This device makes us worry more than we are not using it. Whatâs the point of having it then? It is not easy to set up as well, as both of the device and the base station has no buttons but lights only. To turn on the device, you have to shake it until thereâs a green light. What if itâs on the baby already, and it disconnected, when she is already asleep? You will have to remove it from the baby which mean, chance to wake her up during their sleep. Just donât waste money or spend more to get any other brand.

This is our second baby monitor purchase, as the Cubo Ai just didnât work with our wide connection. So we really hope this one would work as the main job for the baby monitor is to provide live footage of the baby right? Been using this monitor for couple of days now, so far so good. Getting the connection while shopping outside. The sensor clip worked as well. Also like the app can turn on or off the monitor or the sensor separately. App is easy to easy.
Updated review after 2 weeks
At first I loved this product, it gave me so much peace of mind. But now it keeps disconnecting and loading, as if it canât find the device. If something where to go wrong it wouldnât be able to pick it up since itâ s always disconnected. Seller contacted me say it wouldnât work if baby is on stomach or if there is wall between the the phone and device. Doesnât make sense to me why this product is needed if they want you in the same room. Then you might as well just physically check on your baby. Also mine was fà th baby was on back and I stood at the entrance of the room and it still wasnât working after 15 mins

This has given me so much peace of mind with my newborn so I donât worry all night. Instead of potentially waking her up, I just open my app and know sheâs doing okay! I wish the range was a little further as itâs great when sheâs in my room or the next room over, but when she moves to her own bedroom i wonât be able to use it. If you are a few rooms over from your baby it might not be the best product for you, but for babies in the bassinet in the same room, or the next room over itâs great for getting a good sleep!Update!!!Itâs now been almost 3 months and I have more feedback.-The breathing part on the app is consistently loading. Sometimes it tells us her breathing, but most of the time itâs loading, shows for 5 seconds then loads again for up to a minute sometimes (even when sheâs beside us asleep)-It has logged us out in the middle of the night! We had it on our daughter, turned the app on, app open and within range. Woke up at 2am to find it logged us out.. thankfully nothing happened during that time..definitely some things to fix.We may have considered spending a little more for a different product if we knew what we know now.Update at 4 months. Iâm sitting with my daughter literally on me, and itâs been loading for 20 minutes. Usually it would have said she rolled over as sheâs on her stomach. I have tried closing the app many times and reopening it, as well as turning Bluetooth off and reconnecting. Just be aware this may happen.
