I loved this sensory activity board so much more than I thought I would as someone who is neurodivergent and needs to fidget. I almost didn’t order it and I’m so glad that I did. It is incredibly satisfying to push the soft yet firm silicone strings into the curved maze design with pleasing color combinations and create different visual effects, and then remove them and start over again.This sensory activity board comes with a two-sided board – one side is the curved maze which I prefer and the other side is a bunch of pegs; 20 silicone strings with three in each color and two extra; and a lightweight bag to store it all in.I’m very sensitive to color so I chose the pink board because I love pink and it also comes with purple, pink, and turquoise silicone strings. I wish that it only came with those colors and more of them because I don’t find the orange, yellow, and white on top of the pink visually pleasing. And the strings are very specific to this board; they are less stretchy than stretchy fidget strings and a little more firm.I highly prefer the curved maze because I find the curves more visually pleasing. On the pegboard side it’s hard to make pleasing curves, although you can use your creativity more on the pegboard side because where you put the strings is completely up to you. On the curved maze side you are limited to the curves in the maze but I still find it much more visually pleasing.I loved figuring out different color combinations and placing them in and having the colors work together and finding it visually pleasing. I did feel slightly grumpy when I couldn’t make the strands fit exactly the way I wanted to, like when one would slightly stick out or overlap, but it was still incredibly satisfying and pleasing and I wanted to do it over and over again. I also found it calming and it helped me focus.I was pleasantly surprised how much I really enjoyed this sensory board and found it satisfying. I usually like fidget toys that I can hold in my hands and this one is different; it helps to lay it flat while working on it, but it was very satisfying and pleasing to use. This is a fun, calming, satisfying, and easy to use sensory board that has two different sides and two different sets of color combinations that can be pleasing on tactile and visual sensory levels, as well as pleasing color combinations, and satisfying feel, both in placing the strands and removing them. I also love how quiet it is. Recommended for those of us with sensory and neurodivergent issues.
Sensory Fun
I got this for my child, who has sensory needs. The board comes with quite a few noodles and it is easy to use. The board itself is nice and thick. The texture on both sides has a height that allows the noodles to pass snuggly between them and not slip and slide around. The noodles themselves are not very stretchy, but I think this is ok because I think these are sturdier than a typical sensory stretch noodle. They will withstand many shapes when pressed into the board. Overall, it’s a great sensory toy to add to the collection.
Fun for Kids and Bored Office Workers!
I’m retired now, but when I was at work (pre-Covid), I had a ton of action figures and fidget toys on my desk for times when I was stuck on boring conference calls. I sure wish I had this one! This toy is awesome! And the board that you can wind the strings onto is double-sided, with two different groove patterns to experiment with. The video on the listing is exactly like the toy is in real life.Unfortunately for me, I ordered it for the little ones in my life, and I’m sure that the two older boys (ages 5 and 9) will love it! I certainly do. This is a great toy for kids, and also for bored office workers – it would make a great stocking stuffer for each.Bonus is that the “”strings”” look like different colours of licorice, so make sure you don’t give it to a child who still puts things in their mouth, because they seriously look like yummy candy. I highly recommend this toy.

Fun for everyone
I needed airplane activities to keep a nine year old busy and this did the trick. There’s something about fidget toys that just keep the children’s interest. She was able to create many different designs and the best part is that it’s reusable and fun for the whole family.
