My granddaughters have a sensory swing at home; it hangs in a corner of their living room where, whenever they feel like relaxing, they can crawl in, cuddle up, and read a book or just relax. They enjoy it so much that we’ve been looking for a similar swing to hang in our backyard for all of our grandkids to enjoy.I was more than a little skeptical when I saw the size of the box that the swing was packed in; our granddaughters’ swing is a heavy cotton material which is soft and substantial. The one we received is a polyester weave which is thin enough that you can see clearly through it. That being said, when it was suspended from the a large overhead branch there turned out to be an impressive amount of the light, breezy fabric. Strength did not seem to be an issue. The material showed no strain when my wife lounged in the comfortable cocoon it created and, when I supported myself with the fabric, I ended up far more concerned about the tree branch giving way than I was about rips or tears in the polyester.This set is designed for use indoors or outdoors; it comes with almost all the required hardware (wood tapping screws are not included) for mounting the unit on wood or concrete ceilings as well as everything that you’ll need for suspending it from a large branch. I would agree with the product page’s claim that the hanging accessories, particularly the daisy chain and carabiner are of climbing quality. Happily, the fabric portion of the swing is washable.I am happy to say that, in spite of my initial concerns, I will be more than willing to let my grandkids, or for that matter, their parents, relax and enjoy the relaxing environment this swing offers; it really is quite comfortable and provides a convenient escape for those looking to get away from the wear and tear of everyday life. Versatile, easy to set up, and a great way for children to unwind, this is a well designed and constructed product. Recommended.
