An amazing wooden set that any child would absolutely love
This beautiful little sensory table is something that any child would just love! You have to assemble it yourself, but trust me this does not take long at all, basically it is the chair that you must put together as the table only has four legs that you screw in and that is it!the tear takes no time at all. It comes A little Allen- key to use on the middle screws that are included. I have provided a photo of those as well.You do not have to worry about the screws, causing any kind of harm because they sink into the wood a little bit so when they are set, they do not stick out or anything.The top of the table has these cool table top pieces that can be lifted off and rotated quite easily so you have the choice of a whiteboard or a chalkboard, or you can have half and half, the choice is up to you. The little tubs that are inside are quite genius. You can fill them with all kinds of stuff, you can even put water in there so the kid can play with a toy boat, etc. etc. the possibilities are endless. And as for cleanup. It is simple. They just pop out for you to clean them. They are rather deep so they can hold a lot of your childâs toys, markers, Paints, etc. The tubs are made of a very durable plastic, and you can also expand them to make more room or have them collapse to save space.This beautiful set is made of a very clean and also smooth. I might add, PINE so itâs pretty durable. If you wanted to you could paint them in any colour that you wanted. That is a bonus for this product as well,I really love this little set and I think you would be impressed when you see it in person, it is quite durable even if you just use the screws without even using any glue or anything. But, if you wanted to, I guess you could use some wood glue on the screws so it stays permanently attached Choice would be up to you. I personally think it is quite strong without having to use any glue or anything for the screws.That comes with ructions that are evil in colour and very easy to follow. I have attached a couple photos of those as well.Absolutely beautiful product, quite durable, it was an easy, five stars for me.
Wonderful quality and features, but not cheap
I’ve always told everybody that I actually enjoy building IKEA furniture, and it’s true. And so I equally enjoyed building this sensory table set… which, in truth, is mostly about building the chair. The pieces of the chair fit together quite snugly which in one case meant wrestling very slightly to get two pieces slotted together – the tolerances are quite tight! But ultimately it was very straightforward and only required the included Allan key. The table only required the four legs be screwed into their bases that were already secured to the underside of the table. The wood is sanded smooth with no rough edges.The table features a play surface and a chalkboard surface in two parts so you can go 100% with either, or 50-50% of each. Underneath are three neat rubber storage bins that expand or collapse as needed and can be used to play with sand, as suggested in the Amazon product description, or – more likely for those who will keep it inside their home – building bricks, toy cars, figurines, markers or crayons, or any other play stuff.Make no mistake – this table and single chair are perfectly sized for toddlers… probably up to age 5 max? Our daughter is 4 but quite small and she’s very comfortable at it, as are her younger cousins.At $199.99 (Sept 2024) it’s a bit pricey. But if the price isn’t an obstacle for your, the product is certainly very nice.

Well built, solid, and has multiple uses
I got this for our 3 year old that LOVES doing anything with his hands so we got him this, it took about 20 minutes to setup screw everything together and retorque it when we were done.Once setup, the table and chair are both solid, they dont wiggle or jiggle and THANK GOODNESS… THEY SIT FLAT ON THE GROUND AND DONT ROCK!The quality is excellent, the wood is smooth so no chance of splinters.It has 3 bins underneath which we have some sand and toys in there, our little guy like to recreate a sort of “Jarrassic Park” thing with his dinosaurs and such. He spends a lot of time at this thing and now he prefers to eat there as well so its become “the tool with 1000 uses” as they’d say.For $109, its great value and worth every penny.
